Didn't post ITT last time but always enjoy looking through it, very motivating to see everyone's efforts.
I hit a deadlift PR today. 475 at 190.6lbs (wrong weight in vid title) 2.49XBW
Based on how slow it was and how it felt it's my current max. If anyone notices any form or mechanical changes I need to make they are appreciated. I know my head should be more neutral it kind of just goes where it wants to...

wow, nice pull. My form on PR's horrid but you look tight and dialed right in. Impressed.
Not on spread.

Thanks guys, squats and deads have been inching up wish I could get that coveted third plate on bench press you guys are rockin. Seems like it's gonna be a while...
-
On spread with the lot of ya . Awesome work as always.

Not a calf was seen that day :D

Meh. My calves measure the same circumference as my arms. #proportional
Tune in to NBC Monday's 8pm/7Central to see how I did (rumor was my episode will air 6/29).

Finished off 2014 with a barely there 1rm squat at 220. Nearly 1/2 way through the year, onto my goal of a 3pps squat, a tripple at 120kgs (264lbs)

Was very happy to get 3
-
Great progress sen8tor, well on your way to 3pps.
Chris that picture is almost comical. Your abs look fake like they are painted on, but in 3D. Awesome. I'm sure you did well, looking forward to the episode.

ID inspired me back, this was less weight than my current "max" double but that was super-low bar, belted and barely to parallel. Was going to try 495 but I glad I didn't as I barely got the second rep!
Ok, last squat vid for a long time I promise (also I need a break from squats for a few sessions to let my lower back recover)

Keep the photos and vids coming. I visit for motivation. I am leaning out but well hard to tell since photo is after I ate.

Thank you. But I would trade my FS for your rippin six pack, man. Srsly

Norwich, that's an awesome PR for front squats, and the video is like a tutorial on proper form.
I hardly ever post here anymore, but I read this thread almost daily, and it's still the best thread ever. Got a new deadlift PR, and actually remembered to take a video of it. I'm usually using my phone for music, so I don't think about making videos.
It's only 340 lbs, but it beats my previous PR by 10 lbs. I should have gone for another rep!
I should have added 30# to the bar and gone for another rep!
^^Fixed.
That had to be the smoothest looking PR I've ever watched. Great work!

Thanks man. It didn't feel as smooth as it looked. I was kinda surprised when I watched the video. Next time I'll spend less time wearing myself out with high reps at lower weights, and do singles to work up to a higher PR weight. I'll get that added 30 lbs!
-
Thanks for the compliment. It was a long road to get it. Not gonna lie. The saying that abbs are made in the kitchen is spot on. Great job on the squats and keep your vids coming. Helps the rest of us with improving our form.

Wow, your traps really stand out in that picture! Well everything else too... shoulders, arms, upper chest, and the abs of course.

Weekly update started tanning today...hard to have any abs after 4 meals and a gallon of water. Having some issues with blood thickness. Which really sucks when you have clogged arteries already. Oh well least dont need save for retirement.

Brother, don't talk like that. You have made amazing progress since your heart attack and you still look better than 99% of men our age. Keep fighting the good fight, John. thumbsup.jpeg

Thanks Matt I am proud of way I look to be honest (more now than pre surgery) and will never give up. I was in the gym busting my ass today. As far as my health I accepted it years ago. I showed my blood work to the cancer doc that I had a couple of dates with. She told me she has never seen hemoglobin as high as mine. Its really weird as never had it before and I have made no changes in drug regime. About 7 months ago my doctor took me off blood thinners and coreg (blood pressure) so wonder if that what has caused the change. Its not good when you have 2 arteries that are not clogged to have really thick blood. It explains why it took forever to get my blood taken and why I almost passed out.

I didn't know that you had needle issues too. You really are my big bro!

Ha I wish it was needle issues. But never had a problem with it before and I am in a medical study at one point I was having blood taken weekly. I give myself a shot in stomach every two weeks for the trial drug I am taking. It has to do with poor blood flow I think.
