Steven Seagal approves.

This is going to happen if GSP beats Shields.

well...if you want to rule out what's next...the only other thing left is Okami.
well i'm just that kinda guy who sees his fighting style, and i did the same with muhammad ali, and I see a guy who is considered the best but I know there is a guy like Mike Tyson out there that will one day come to light and I will KNOW that guy will be better
I don't think being elusive is the best type of fighting style, SHogun proved that by beating machida, I'm just waiting for someone to do the same to silva
Maybe it's just a personal strategic belief, but I really think being elusive only takes you so far before someone defeats you with physics (force)
fail shogun did not prove that against machida, the reason machida got ktfo is because he wasnt being elusive like he usually is he was being overly agressive trying to stop shogun.
And ali>tyson IMO

If anything Silva should move UP in class if he wants a challenge.
Agree with the guy who compared Silva to Ali and how they used psychological warfare to beat their opponents before fighting.
I mean gsp is good but he couldn't even submit hardy who has zero ground game or ko koschesk who is primarily a wrestler with 1 eye
where silva just ko'd the best striker in the division-other then himself obviously- who has never been ko'd in his career with a simple front kick. Anderson is simply the greatest ever and would beat gsp without much trouble.
The idea that Vitor is the "Best striker in the division" is part of the UFC hype train. Vitor hasn't even been relevant for 5+ years. Just because he beat a past his prime Franklin shouldn't have even have put him in a title fight against Anderson anyways.
Like always, Rogan and the UFC hyped this fight based on deception and lies. Not hating, just sayin, they always spout off BS to hype fights.
I can't believe nobody is discussing Anderson obviously wiping vaso from his face and rubbing it all over body during annoncements

earlyyyyyyyy stoppage!!!!!!!!
If Shields manages to pull of the upset against GSP then Anderson should vacate the MW belt and move up to LHW. Anderson Silva vs T.Silva/Rampage for title shot after Rashad gets his. He has already cleaned out the MW division.

actually, i remember someone posting a gif of one of Machida's moves that he likes to catch opponents with, and then they posted a gif of losing the Shogun fight and he was trying to use the same move but Shogun simply saw it coming and was able to time it so that he hit Machida instead. So maybe it had to do with Machida's aggression in the fight or maybe it didn't, but seems to me that it doesn't matter since it was Machida tryin to do something that he normally does...it's just that it didn't work out well for him that time.
Wow. When Vitor's head snapped back, I thought he was going to be badly hurt, like a concussion or more serious. Wicked kick.
Vitor Belfort's always been the overrated underdog. "Naturally" athletic but really lacks the skill and psychological toughness that's needed to be a champion.
His style of fighting is enough to get him into elite competition but not enough to win or hold onto a championship belt. I think his style has always remained the same.
Same striking you saw against Jon Hess/early ufc- relies too much on 'blitzing' at standup
When grappling has very predictable wrestling and bjj; uses more momentum and power to initiate/control opponents, no timing, feinting, setups etc.
I re-watched the fight again and in the first minutes of feeling out, Belfort fell for Silva's bait and started swinging wildly.
30-27 rocha , lol wuttt ??
When Silva beats GSP he needs to move up to 205. Actually by that time, Jon Jones will probably be the title holder and that would be good match, probably
