Do you guys plan on buying Goose Island Bourbon County this year?
Last year my local Costco had the regular one for dirt cheap like $7.99 or something like that, so I picked one up.
I'm not going out of my way to buy it, but if I see it cheap like that, then I'll pick one up.

Haven't really thought about it really. I might buy a couple of singles if I see it. Then again, the regular variation is a shelf turd months after release now.

I still bought what came here. So the regular and 3 variants. This years edition is delicious. We still have 19’ here in some stores. One of the variants lasted a month here ly but I think it will sell out this time.

I ended up getting a couple regulars and the tea one and Carmel variants. They had them when I went to grab stuff to make old fashions. Had the regular so far and it was awesome as usual. The others will probably be meh, but worth a try once.

I seen them but passed as usual. The hop bombs corrupted my palate for life

Deschutes Abyss is now a dud.
I remember 10 years ago or so when it was a huge deal when it would come out. Pretty sad.

I haven't had Abyss in 5 yrs now. I just can't bring myself to pay what they want for it.

So many breweries are doing stouts that are amazing so I cant bring myself to buy many chain ones except BC. Between Civil Society, Orchestrated Minds and 3 Sons I get my fill.
This was damn good and one of the cleanest imperial stouts I’ve had

I love stout season, which is most of the year for me. Avery still makes my favorite stouts. Down side right now is I'm leaning out a bit for a trip to Mexico in a 4-5 wks. Cheers fellow beer bro's and stay thirsty my friends.

Update, also found the oatmeal one with coffee and maple syrup.
Regular: just as good as it’s always been
Carmel: pass on it, nothing special about it
London fog: loved it, balanced very well
Oatmeal: meh, good but maple doesn’t add much and the coffee is nice, but I’d rather have regular

No 120 Minute IPA in 2021

Kind of surprised about 120 but not the others. Not that I've bought 120 in yrs but it was always a staple in the line up. I guess those high octane IPA's are dead.

I wish they bring back Hickory Stout.
Bitches Brew was great also.
DFH is a great brewery, I just overlook them all the time because we have so many great breweries here in the PNW.

I like 120. My fav. is 90 min. It was my first IPA that I liked and it's always a go to when on tap. Other than that, Vanilla WWW was really good.
I kind of feel for breweries like DFH, Bells etc. They're the OG and it seems like I never buy anything from them anymore. I had Double 2 Hearted on tap 2 nights ago for the first time. It was good. Would drink again.

Finally got a hold of a 6er of DFH American Beauty and it's as good as I was expecting, which I had high hopes for. One of the better beers ive had in a while

Those look good. Were doing a biggest loser contest at work. Pot is at $1600 right now. Going low carb and cutting brews way back.

Thx for not responding to my text about this, butthole.
PS- Just saw Belgium in a Box went bankrupt last week. So don't buy from them or have them proxy for you.

Where did thefugitive go?
-
Have you guys ever bought beer online before? If so, what sites do you recommend? I've always wanted to try Bell's, Heady Topper, and honestly, Yuengling.

I know he was banned but IDK what for. He's been gone for about a week or slightly longer.

Sorry bro, can't help ya there. If we get some fresh Bell's products in, I can send ya package in exchange for some goodies.
-
It’s odd for me to see someone wanting Yuengling but shoot me a PM, I’ll shoot you one. Bells is overrated except a few barrel aged stouts. But, we have all of their basics like double two hearted, two hearted, official, Kalamazoo etc. if you want to trade some boxes let me know as well.

I wouldn't say they are over rated. Now a day's, I can see that. They were OG and as solid as they come. Still a good drink but there are a lot better around these days. Just like a lightsaber, a weapon for a more sophisticated day. lol

I always pick up their annual releases and I am always disappointed. Their best beer is Official which is crazy considering it’s one of the most commercially available. I grabbed HopSlam yesterday which I haven’t enjoyed the last few years. We will see if it’s the same malty mess they seem to produce.
Will say their BA expedition is legit.

Every single one of those beers are overrated. Horny toppler in particular.
Where do you live? I can probably name you 3000 beers better than all of those within a 1 hour radius.
