Show a pic of your body and let me be the judge of your sub 10 percent physique, or if you're living in Na Na land.
Not saying you aren't and there are exceptions.
As a natty however the No 1 rule is, you can't stay lean all year around.
Simple as that - not possible.
I can point out fake Natties based on look alone if I know their shape 365 days a year.
Even smaller guys at 170-200lbs can't maintain that.
Much less 225lbs +
There might be a chance some lunatic boxer who does 4h of cardio in the welterweight division might stay at a super low BF% but he would only be 150lbs.
The all mighty key word is : Carb-Cycling
It's the answer to everything trust me. General knowledge gotta be aquired over the years though.
Experience is key.
Therefore my take
A BF% of 7-8% as a natty can be maintained for 1-2 weekends in 1 year (without taxing your life and especially performance)
It's mostly achieved by prime athletes in combat sports that have a "peak day" to work towards the whole year.
Sex is something that falls completely flat at those levels. You'll feel like ****. Can't sleep right, ass hurts badly from sitting (no fat lol) your reflexes and power are on another level. It feels like turning SSJ when you do it for the first time.
Everyone should do a diet to reach those levels at least once in your lifetime.
Ps : It's known to rewire your brain (obese guys have never had the urge again for a Snickers)
Smokers have quit without even looking back.
It's self self therapy. The ultimate will test.
bropheus, you look good but your not ripped. your more like 14%. you'd be 180 not 200 if you were @8% at your height.
6'1 200 is enhanced level im afraid.
this is what single digit looks like for me https://imgur.com/a/ALISV9B

The difference between 10% and 8% is huge, especially in maintenance. I can hang around 10% while drinking once per week, 8% would be stressful at least.
The closer you get to single digits, the less the ROI. At 10% can clearly see all of my abs, with a clear line under the lowest pair, at 8% I'd be able to see the veins on my abs.
But would you rather have a full set of abs while still being able to enjoy a few beers at a beach party, or look at your veins in the mirror alone on a Friday night?

I don't mean it as a criticism but i really dont think you are single digits @ 200. I think you are 14-15% @ 200/90kg and 180 @single digits.

I get you and it's a good point. People also pack fat differently and hold different amounts of water. I looked like crap at 11,5% to be honest.

There'll be no pic because I don't want to enter the old "I call roids" debate.
Lol
I'm 50, lifetime natty and I, sadly, don't even get the "I call roids" comments. No offense, you look good, but I don't think anyone would think you're on gear.

Most people on gear look like **** (just a little less **** than the average person, who looks really ****)
For everybody obviously juiced, there are many more who don't even look impressive for a natural

Nice pics. I hope can I look like that gear-free at 50.
What's your %? Do you look like that all the time or was that your peak shape?

what kind of dedication do you need to get that lean for contest prep? in my experience i need tunnel vision, im about 190, 15% (out of shape) and im thinking about dumping my girlfriend as i see her as a distraction from cutting.
when im cutting i essentially go into loner mode who only focuses on his diet for 3 months before emerging as a guy in insane shape who mogs everyone at the beach/club as i go into maintanance and live it up a bit more.

How about Jeff Cavaliere (Athlean-X)?
He looks to be under 10% all year long.
Are you saying he's a natty?
I think if you saw Jeff up close and without pump, you'd be surprised how small he is.
At that level of Youtube fame it pays to choose lean over big, to appeal to broader audience.
I don't even think he's on HGH, since there's no crazy vascularity or superhuman definition.
That's not saying that Jess is 100% gear-free,
I simply can't know that, just like I don't know how gifted he is,
but you can sure achieve that naturally, especially if it comes with Diamond status (10m subs) on Youtube.
Having seen a lot of bodies, and various degrees of talent,
I tend to believe that people who call roids on someone who looks like Jeff just really like carbs,
and can't believe that others might prioritise other things.

I know you already got called out on this...but you do realize you titled this thread "<10% year round ama" and you are clearly not sub 10%. Don't get me wrong you're not fat - but no where close to single digit (going off your avi). More like 14-15%, which is totally fine but it kind of takes the wind out of your whole thread.
Also suspicious that you posted a pic where your arm is completely covering your midsection...if my abs are popping, I put them front and center not cover them up.
But you're obviously a big dude with muscle, just saying...

I've had 3d abs and obliques for ~10 years, it's old stuff to me. More preoccupied with my calves and shoulders now.
Does anyone here ever does anything except call each other out on s***?

Is it that or is it you're too old to build credit elsewhere, so you come here for good ole times sake, and try to establish yourself by bashing new users, like some lifelong inmate?

Well you kind of just jumped into a pond thinking you're the only fish.
Dont get me wrong, you look absolutely great. But there are many people here who are leaner and bigger and don't start AMA threads. Probably just rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Its just the internet mane!

Don't judge everything by the pic posted ... My back is even more shredded than my arms and I have developed traps, but I didn't stop to think about taking my top off. What was I thinking? I wasn't. I was very new to social media and didn't think about "posing." I know- what woman dosen't think about posing for the camera?? Oh well. I screwed up!
I never knew my bf% at any given time, but I never intended to compete so that number didn't matter to me! If someone dosen't compete, and is already lean, why place so much emphasis on bf%?

Lol this. No one is going out of their way to say you're fat - you started a thread titled "<10% year round ask me anything" - you were kind of asking to get called out.

It's not so much a number, 9 vs. 10 etc. It's a level of conditioning that OP is claiming but doesn't have.

Claims sub 10 then shows up at 12 plus with excuses. Hard to take it seriously. There’s is a LOT of difference between 12-13 and sub 10 believe me been there done that. Never again....
