If it weren't for the fact that I get extremely bad hangovers, I would have a drinking problem.
I'm there with you. I'm actually considering quitting because my body can't take alcohol like I used to. Even 2 drinks the next day I feel groggy with drinking coconut water before bed. I missed those drinking days though.
I'm 26 going on 27 & my hangovers are absolutely brutal. I can't imagine they'll get THAT much worse with age. Right, guys? Right...?
I’m 40
They suck
Drink everyday

The majority of a hangover is due to dehydration
Sodium holds water
Alcohol and liquid in general pulls it out of you
Next time you drink, eat 2 bowls of soup before bed
Chit will change your life dedsrsrsrs
Gays will tell you to drink water, but that's even worse
You need salt to hold the water
This is one of the most legit pieces of advice I’ve read on this forum. 100% trying next time I drink and FWIW I actually remember when I was a poor student I used to eat ramen as drunk food and wouldn’t be as hung over. Mind = blown.

Preparing a bowl of soup seems implausible while drinking enough to get a hangover...
Thanks boyos

Pedialyte> Powerade
lol, drinking water, drinking electrolytes, drinking water while drinking booze, eating food, etc etc never helped me a bit when I got a fresh hangover.
Only thing that eliminated hangovers was going full blown alcy. Brb tossing back a fifth every night and waking up feeling normalish
this thread convinced me to be a good boy and take my pill today before drinking.
WRONG.
Do 100% agave tequila, in a margarita, on an empty stomach.
Only drink on empty stomach, with 100% agave tequila CREW
Haven't been hungover EVER doing this CREW
Dead srs.
Never sober up
Yeah it's fuking brutal. I rarely drink anymore, maybe 1 beer a month if even. If I happen to get together with my old buddies or go camping, the hangovers are so brutal.
Vodka and seltzer. Add salt(electrolytes), if at home swap half the seltzer for coconut water and add a hit of caffeinated Mio
Been taking pedialyte powder packets out with me. Pour one into a glass of water at some point during the night mid drinking. Helps big time
Drink pedialyte *******s. You all new to drinkin or what?
Edit: lol^
it doesn't make me as euphoric drinking at 33 either
What ****gy drinks are you drinking?
just borrowing happiness from tomorrow
im 32 but havnt really been drunk since I was probably 29. When I was 30 I drank a bottle of vodka in an evening and some wine and barely got a good buzz so just decided the poison and effort wasnt worth it. On new years I had no smell/taste because of Covid(still fukking dont) and I chugged an 8oz glass of whiskey straight for fun and it was like water, but didnt feel a thing, drank a bottle of wine and got a slight buzz after.
For some reason once i turned 30, hangovers now last 3 days. Gone were the college days when i could drink every single day, getting blackout drunk every night and hit the gym the next morning
