always been programed to think eating clean all the time its a psychological thing from when I first started getting into a lifting a few years ago and being afraid you wont get to the conditioning you want on stage. All those b.s. articles I used to read about earting a billion times a day and only eatinch chicken broccoli and sweet potatos. Which does actually work but at what cost. Though I'm liking this method counting is definately the way to go.
Edit on another note do you guys count vegetables calories and carbs in your calories/macros?

Yep, calories are calories.

I'd call a pizza a 'cheat' meal - Dominos, Pizza Hut - that sort of thing. Even so I only eat half a pizza maximum these days; stuffing myself with a whole pizza would be very hard to fit into my macros as well. ;)

Just set aside like 200 odd calories for general veg (carrots peas parsnips etc) if you tend to eat it alot & you'll be covered.
Other veg that are relatively high calorie like nuts, potatoes & beans/lentils i most certainly count as it clocks up to ~700 cals+.
Carbs personally i don't count, I tend to eat a largely vegetarian diet & so most of my diet is rich in carbohydrates. It is usually fats i'm more on the watch for due to me not using cooking oils regularly & hating avocados.

I think most of us go through a phase like that. It's not healthy.....
by far the best is having ~25g fats. Peanut butter tastes good with anything.

Regardless of how or why doesn't change the fact you sound ridiculous.....use that to change how look at food, speak into your orthorexic tendencies (and don't feel guilty about either)
Haha Trying having a 4 hour eating window doing IF, you walk into the kitchen and whip up a 1300 calorie meal, then 2 hours later you are hungry again for another 1300. while your friends are eating like 400 calorie mini meals 6 times a day and feeling miserable

Yeah IF is beautiful. Especially with the four hour window. Big f**k off meals that can give you food coma while coming in under total intake. Eating as it should be!
