Sleep is a luxury, if you can afford it go for it, but if you are like me and you have young children and a busy job, there is no choice but to workout early in the morning when it doesn't impact family time or work....... unless I chose not to workout at all.
I'm in the gym at 4am Monday to Friday regardless of how good my nights sleep was, I love working out, it is a part of me and has been for 20+ years, I will sleep plenty when I'm 6ft under!
I couldn't imagine not working out in the morning now, I'm tired when I wake but I feel awesome when I leave the gym.
I don't think acute sleep deprivation takes that much of a bite off of your workouts. there have been periods of time when I've consistently missed sleep, and my workout doesn't particularly suffer. I do ensure I take a good pre-workout ,however, such as No Xplode or Jacked. I think over time it can impact your performance, but one off times shouldnt be a problem IMO
This is the case for me too. I usually end up feeling sleepy and yawning but if I push thtough it my lifts and cardio are rarely affected

yes, i work 12 hr shifts, 2 days , 2 nights then 6 off, (6-6) and inbetween the two nights or on my first rest day after the 2nd night shift can be a struggle. I often have the day inbetween my nights as a rest day but other than that a good coffee and a pre workout seems to help.

I workout mostly after my work so I am always tired but I try to manage

Haven't had any sleep. Got to correct my sleep cycle right now

Whatever it takes god dammit!

I'm in the Marine Corps so sometimes I get like 1-3 hours of sleep a night, I never notice a difference when I hit the gym afterwards. It's probably more of a mindset, I never take preworkout either, just some good ol self motivation. I have yet to fail a scheduled set since I've been back in the gym.
