Broncos want to keep QB Wilson.
Broncos want to keep HC Hackett.
Broncos want to keep GM Paton (who gave Wilson his own office, signed Wilson an extension before he even played, made the contract fully guaranteed, traded away Von Miller and Chubb).
The new Walton ownership brigade needs a reality check.

If Rodgers came to Denver with Hackett, I can't help but wonder if things would be much different.

If Rodgers retires after this season, he will still cost the Packers about 20% of their 2023 salary cap (despite not being on the roster). I can't imagine any team being successful with that kind of handicap. It is significantly worse than what happened with Brees in New Orleans, and the Saints have lost more games the last season and a half than they had the prior 4 seasons combined....

There were like 3 or 4 calls yesterday around the league that were 10000 times worse than the Hunter Henry no catch. The reffing is back to 2017 garbage levels again.

It really has been bad. Consistency is a major issue. Call it the same and its a level playing field. Hell I'm not really 100% sure what a catch is anymore.
The refs have missed a bunch of 12 men on the field. Hell Seattle now has guys running off the sideline, blocking guys and no flag. Seems like the refs are back to rock bottom.
Hell I'm not really 100% sure what a catch is anymore.
They publicly said that they were doing away with the whole "survive the ground" rule in 2018, because it had gotten so bad. Now they seem to be right back where they started.
The refs have missed a bunch of 12 men on the field.
To me, that is equally on coaching. Can they not hire some office stooge whose only job it is to count the players before each play? You can challenge whether or not a player made it off the field in time to avoid a 12-man penalty, so that leads me to believe that you can challenge whether there was 12 on the field for a play or not. When it happened to us against Buffalo, it should have been caught by KOC/his staff and challenged in my opinion.

Oh I misspoke, not fully guaranteed.
"Is Russell Wilson's contract fully guaranteed?
Wilson agreed to terms on a five-year extension with the Denver Broncos through the 2028 season, the team announced Thursday. Wilson's new deal is worth $245 million and includes $165 million guaranteed, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources."
Still though, jesus christ lol.

Time to retire Aaron Rodgers. Been a great ride.
Arguably the most talented QB I've ever seen in my life.
Jordan Love has earned the right to play the rest of the season.

No he hasn't lol.. Jordan Love played well in mop up duty against a defense literally giving him his first read, but there are still major question marks around him that have been showing all throughout practices/training camp/preseason. Jordan Love hasn't earned anything yet

how the hell did Indy go from 3pts, to 1st and goal...to turn over lmao

the blind think this is a head coach issue
i'm sorry, but a head coach doesn't play nor does a new head coach enable Wilson to see players open

It is a coaching issue too.
Hackett was having problems managing the game, so he brought on an advisor to help make decisions and also relinquished playcalling to Klint Kubiak. Before that, Hackett was making outrageous calls on the field that made no sense to literally anyone, along with traditional Andy Reid style clock management.
It's not to be unexpected with him being a new coach, but similar to Vance Joseph, way over his head right now.
