As a big fan of cereal proteins, I bought the Dymatize Iso 100 Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles immediately, and they're ridiculous.

Pretty good review, not using whey atm but reading this made me want to grab a couple tubs of these.

I haven't had anything from Gaspari in a long time but I received a sample of AminoLast
in the Peach Raspberry flavor and I put it to use today as intra workout and right away
I took a chance and went heavy on the water 22oz which is what I like for my intra.
The flavor hit with a light sweet raspberry flavor but then it gets taken over by a strong
sweet peachy flavor which taste like a gummy or jellied type candy which I thought tasted
very good and refreshing :p I like the fact that even in the amount of water I added the
flavor came through strong and didn't taste watered down at all. It was sweet in a good way
and very flavorful so YES if I needed this type of supplement and the price was right I would
buy this flavor.:)

Although Dymatize is actually owned by Post, I'm still blown away by how accurate the Fruity Pebbles flavor is, which in one fell swoop rendered the MAN Sports Fruity Rubbles utterly obsolete. This tastes like Fruity Pebbles marinated a bowl of milk, with not a single chemical note (like the MAN's) and mixed with edible glitter to really give it the Fruity Pebbles kick.
I'm eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles protein pudding right now and it's like they condensed childhood into a powder. This is hand's down the best fruity cereal protein I have ever had, beating Ghost, MAN, and CTD with a giant, prehistoric club.
The Cocoa Pebbles is also amazing, again tasting like concentrated Pebbles of the Cocoa variety this time. What surprised me with this one was how not only was it an outstanding rendition of the cereal, but it's just an incredible chocolate on its own. I'm always a bit picky when it comes to chocolate flavors because they're often so boring, yet here I am always going for the Cocoa Pebbles ISO 100 over the more adventurous flavors. Xtend Lava Cake, VMI Double Chocolate Cookie, and not even the CTD Isolicious' Coco Cereal Crunch are tempting over the Cocoa Pebbles ISO.
I'd say the greatest success of the Cocoa Pebbles ISO 100 in my eyes is how it is not only an extremely faithful cereal protein, but a plain incredible chocolate protein all on its own.
As a final point, what I really appreciate about both of these is that they opted out of the usual "mix ins" that have become far too prevalent with protein powders in general. Throwing bits of cereal in your protein does not make the actual protein taste anything more like the flavor it is trying to replicate; that is 100% down to good flavor chemistry at work, period. Here's hoping that more companies do these official protein tie-ins, and follow Dymatize's path by doing them justice like these two flavors. 110% recommended.
Nice write up!

Only ever used the caps
Think I was using Scorch with the Nolvadrene XT and Y-HCL at one point. Might have to check that Scorch powder out before long here.

They absolutely nailed this flavor.
I would go as far as to say it's one of the best protein powders I have tasted.
No chemical aftertaste and it legit taste like Fruity Pebbles.

If Dymatize didn’t get that flavor right then no one would

I'd drop the money on both Dymatize cereal flavors right now, but I just booked Italy for our honeymoon. Needless to say the supplement money envelope has been hidden away for some time.

I hope you're staying away from the major cities. I'd suggest places like Bari and Lecce which aren't huge tourist destinations but still a great experience.

Well Italy is what she really wanted, so Italy it is. Also hoping this beer virus is handled some September when we go.
We are staying in Monterrosso for three days/nights and checking out the Cinque Terre villages. Then we’re going to Florence for two days since we fly out of Florence. Short 6-day trip (w/ travel times) but it’s all I could do with my work schedule.

well, bbcom got me with a sale. 29% off the signature protein bars chocolate chip cookie dough and the cinnamon roll. Almost out from my last order, had to restock

How sweet is this? Overly sweet like Bday Cake?
I'm so burnt out of the cereal and sweet flavored protein powders. I've stuck to chocolate and vanilla for the last couple months.
Great to hear and love how you compared it to other proteins:) I kind of figured if anyone was going
to do these flavors right it would have to be the co behind the original cereal and from your feedback
it looks like they did.
That was what caught my attention and convinced me to buy them. Flavor formulation and chemistry is not easy, and tackling something like the fruity cereals is all the more of a herculean task in order to get the right balance of so many diverse flavors without one overpowering the other.
If anyone could pull of something as complex as Fruity Pebbles (and Cocoa Pebbles), it would be the company who makes them. This also addresses the elephant in the room head on because we know 100% what they're trying to replicate; none of this touch of Fruit Loops with a dash of Trix guessing.
Stack3d did an interview that discusses how the collaboration evolved, but the most exciting part was the final question:
[b]Post Holdings does make several other cereals, even a few more under the Pebbles brand. With the huge success of the Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles ISO100s, are there more collaborations planned with Post?[b]
Our organization has definitely discussed additional Post Cereal opportunities, and I think the industry does want more authentic collaborations like the Fruity and Cocoa Pebbles. I can’t guarantee we will push out more cereal flavors, but whatever we do put out, we want to make sure it stays in line with our other exceptional flavors and adds to the customer experience with Dymatize as a brand. I will tell you we are working on some other very exciting collaborations in the future, but our team is very early in the process.
I'd be curious if this sparks any other potential companies with subsidiaries dealing in protein powders to consider following suit.
I also give them a lot of credit for sticking with prioritizing macros to be in line with the other ISO100 proteins by eschewing the current trend of cereal mix-ins. Aside from the problems I mentioned and the obviously poor nutritional value they offer, I have noticed that they can actually detract from the flavor over time if you don't use the entire tub right away because they are perishable.
So the next time anyone goes for a protein with mix-ins and notices a slightly off scent or taste, those extra bits might have expired ahead of the protein.
Never tried either cereal but the same company owning both the cereal and the protein companies sounds promising so if it makes it over this side of the Atlantic, I’ll be picking up a tub for definite.
They're pretty big in the States, especially Fruity Pebbles apparently being closely behind Fruit Loops in sales in the US.
Just like Fruit Loops, they're almost impossible to describe because they're a distinct mix of flavors that are very difficult to isolate by taste alone. Describing it doesn't do it justice, so here's hoping that it heads your way.

No chemical aftertaste and it legit taste like Fruity Pebbles.
I agree completely, the Pebbles Proteins have blown all of my expectations out of the water.
The lack of any chemically notes whatsoever seals the deal for me, and I immediately dumped my MAN Sports Fruity Rubbles in the bin after the enlightening experience Dymatize provided.

Shaker free with the order lol I have like 10 sitting around the house, but I never say no to more free.
The rating is rough, but I still have to try it. Loved it years ago when I tried it, so I'm willing to give it another shot regardless of the rating.
