Is it true that you have to be born with 8 pack abs, or can anyone get them? I know anyone can get a 6 pack, but how do you get an 8 pack??

if your bf% is fairly low and u work abs well and u cant get 8 pack, then its your genetics
Its primarily bf% and genetics. If those two things are ok (or in bf% you can change) then you just have to be sure to train your abs.
Extreme definition = extremely low bodyfat.

It is genetic if you have a 6 pack, 8 pack or whatever. Some people when they get down to a low bf% only have a 4 pack.
Look for some pictures of Boyer Coe, his abs were pretty flat throughout his career, but his bodyfat was low enough to see the split in his biceps.
8 pack would be nice. Doubt I have the genetics. I only see 6 :(
I think a full 6 pack, looks better than a half baked 8pack.
If its built and you are "cut" it looks good.
Just make best of what you have.
SUJAY
Surgery...
Or really low BF with lots of lower ab training.
Dude, its totally possible (not that I have it... yet :P )
Seriously, Ive seen soooo many people who are close to having it
Abs, are like all muscle ok? Look at your bicep. Does it have a peak? 2 heads etc? If not... Its because its not fully developed or your bf aint low enough
Your abs are the same. Feel down by your pevice bone. Is the muscle well built there? Same with by you lower chest. Is it fully developed to right under your chest?
To have 8 pack abs you need to work it heavy for size... Then complain about toning it. As for bf. Shredi t baby :P
Very much possible. Make sure to work the lower abdominals. I find using weight helps to increase the size quicker.
Holy **** STRONG almost 8 year old bump
1. genetics
2. good diet
3. low body fat

strong first post.
genetics determine whether you have 6 pak or 8 pack abs.
+ low body fat for them to be visible
/fukin thread
abs 6 or 8 pack = low %bf + good diet + genetics
exercising them is useful but the 3 aspects above will determine if your abs are gonna show or not.
