Interesting. I think that shelf space in Walgreens here (Atlanta Area) is taken up by Blue Bell.
Interesting. I haven't seen Blue Bell in any of the ones over here. It's mostly Ben & Jerry's, Hagan Daaz and a couple random things. Think I saw a few halo top flavors and the little bunny sundaes that are less than a pint but just as much calories as many of them anyways. I don't buy ice cream much from there, more go for other things. Though each location varies to how much space they have, same with grocery stores. One Ralphs I go to has barely any ice cream while the other has practically half an aisle.
Will have to post in a few days more S&S pics. I'm getting into the pints for Smores and soon another bit into the muddy buddy. The mix-ins are plentiful in Campfire Smores. Delicious but hard to eat just a little bit at a time. Might have to plan my calories around just finishing the last half of the pint in one go. It's very chocolate dominant for the flavor but that chocolate is delicious.

Flew down to visit mom at her new home down in Tampa.
Figured it was time to chase down the much heard about Publix subs...and on said adventure, noticed that they had Jeni's on BOGO.
At $6 a pint with some of her hard to get flavors. Why not? Haul was Cream Puff, Boston Cream Pie, Fluffernutter, and Blackout Cake.
We're off to a good start.
Cake went down last night and though the base is weak(ish), it has a welcome smoothness that makes it a nice canvas for the load of choc chips, fudgy cake, and "generous swirl". The package delivers a sufficiently intense chocolate ride with appreciable variation in darkness/crunch.
Good job ma'am.

At this price point I think they will all be enjoyable. Did they not have the Peach Biscuit flavor?

Thanks for the breakdown on Blackout Cake. I regret not snagging that flavor when I was at Jungle Jim’s on sale for $5...

Skepticism was too high to throw every animal in the ark. Next round we'll secure the remaining goats.

Definite winner in the $5-6 range. Reminiscent of Chocoholic Chunk from Handel's but with the added bonus of brownie-ish cake pieces.

Let me know what you think of Boston Cream Pie and Fluffernutter. Those were the two pints I snagged but I'm trying to get through my other open pints right now before I crack those open.

Unsolicited opinion from me:
Boston Cream Pie is might be the best of the in-store releases. The saltiness of the base with the chocolate and cake prices provide the most “layered” pint flavor wise.
The base on Fluffnutter is on point but I was a little let down on the mix-in. Still very enjoyable.

Salted vanilla custard is subtle but it the milkshake element is there. Cake pieces stay light and moist. Fudge swirl has welcome bitterness with decent distribution.
I'm on team chocolate so Blackout was preferred however this was a very well executed pint.

Figured it was time enough to do the review for Big Gay Ice Cream: American Globs. I'm only about half-way through the pint but have had it a couple of times. The base is a malted sweet cream with a fudge swirl and fudge-covered pretzel balls and pieces. I don't have pictures on this one as it is overall a mediocre pint. The swirl is small for the fudge but on the other hand, the pretzel is there and quite tasty. The struggle I have is with the base. I think it's because of the "malted" approach to the sweet cream as the flavor is okay but the texture is a bit different. Ends up having a little grittiness that made me wonder if it was because my freezer is terrible or if it was the way the malt affected the base. I like the pretzel pieces but it's not a pint I'm excited to go back to and I might even let my sister have the rest.
Sounds like it was named after semen. That said the grittiness is from the malt. Ideally, they'd have cooked the egg and cream and milk base with it but filtered it out.
Ha. Funny yet plausible. However, now I really don't want to finish it. Good thing I still have S&S pints to finish and haven't even opened the Munchies from AH.

Busted open my pints of Boston Cream Pie and Fluffernutter Pie.
My girl and I loved both, but we leaned more towards BCP...which is surprising because of our mutual love for peanut butter. The peanut butter base of Fluffernutter Pie is probably the best I've have ever had for a true PB flavor, but the oat crust pieces were tiny and not very crispy.
I got blessed with a badass swirl in the BCP though. Holy hell is it good.

Ample Hills has those Corn 2 Run pints ready. Credit to them for quick shipping.
-
If you missed Corn to Run before, don't miss it this time as it is an all time great flavor.

I want to order Corn to Run but I have had nothing but issues with AH shipping... might try again just in case but, feels like a gamble every time.
