Will you get vaccinated?
Just for sh!ts and giggles lets say a vaccine for covid is available early next month. Will you be rolling up your sleeve or turning the other cheek?
I won't be first in line to say jab me with a rushed vaccine, besides if all you fukers get it I shouldn't have too. Until then I will rely on social distance, my mask apparel and newly acquired hand washing skills to keep me safe.
How about you?
-
Probably not brother. Besides, I am pretty sure I have it now anyway lel.
-
No not at all, never even gotten a flu shot, ever and ironically I never had the flu, don't even know what it feels like to have the flu.
-
No, not even Trumps vaccine, I’ve not been sick free for decades, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix.
-

Damn Brother. Here is wishing you well

You will feel like you are dying (it's a man thing)
-
Depends on the side effects. I'm kinda agnostic about it. I won't be first one to get it anyways.
-

Right on, besides you have a whistle now if you need help

I hear ya
-
I won't be in a rush. If my favorite nurse is there to give it to me, I will. If she's not there, I will wait until she is there.
Thanks.
-
I've never gone for a flu shot and have no plans to get this.
-

Yeah that was a very inappropriate pic, you have cursed more in one day than me plus posted porno graphic pics, you’ve gone passed three strikes sir!
-
Nope...I’ll leave my doses for those in higher risk groups.
-
I’ll be getting it. I suspect by the time it is available for the general population we will have as much safety data that is typically required for vaccine approval.
-
I think I'll wait until I hear more about the side effects (if any). I think first responders get it first and the vulnerable/elderly. If the news is good, then I MIGHT get it.

Nit having my rna modified. Ni thank you.
Instead ill wait for a normal vaccine but rona never been localized ever thats why theyre nit allowed to do autopsies on it and sht

I got so many shots in the Marines they literally had an assembly line to do it, one more doesn't worry me. That said I'm usually not an early adopter, I like to wait to see if anyone else has trouble first. Since I'm not in any of the high priority groups it'll be quite well field tested before it's available to me and should be an easy decision.
-
-
Eventually I guess. I've never gotten a flu shot either, never gotten a serious case of flu that I know of. More than likely will be last in my household to get it.
-
Nope. Had some pretty serious reactions to every vaccine I had as a baby. And then I got half the stuff I was vaccinated against anyway, including pertussis, which sucked. So I don't do vaccines at all now. Besides, I'm low risk, and not in contact with anyone high risk, so it'd really probably be just as well if I got sick.

I did the needle line is boot camp, the last shot was the gun, bunch of needles at a time. After that they gave you a cup to piss in, when I started pissing in the cup I got very dizzy and ended up pissing all over the guy next to me. Took him a while to get over that one. Later that night my entire floor about 80 of us all got a reaction, fever, chills, nausea and some of us were even lucky enough to get the sh!ts too. Too many of us for the hospital so they brought nurses and stuff to us. Fun Times
-
I will with caveats. I will want to make to ensure it's safe (however the hell I do that) or I will take it if it's a condition of my employment (which it may well be because I travel to many countries).
-
I'll get it as soon as it's safe. I don't even feel vaccinations now lol.
-
Ill get it. By the time it's offered to us normal people and side effects will be well known I imagine.
-
I was injected with so many strange things in the US military I am surprised my children are not mutants. I actually had to get the entire anthrax series twice after the military lost my medical records.
No interest in getting a vaccine.
Probably not brother. Besides, I am pretty sure I have it now anyway lel.
Sorry to hear that.
Well, you had a good run bruh. Making it long enough to post on the OV35 is a decent accomplishment.
We really don't know what will eventually take us out.
Tell Eddie Van Halen that we all miss him dude. :D

RIP our newest member of 035 misc. it was nice to know you for one day.
Rep me before u die..
-
I guess i woukd get it, but who knows
-
I'm getting 2. One it each buttock.
What? I like needles and saying the word "buttock".
-
Doing just fine without it and don't get a flu shot either. Not anti-vax at all though but would just rather have my immune system keep me healthy. It's possible we may be forced to by our employers or a politician on a power trip...
-
I miss the "old Fishman" with more spring in his step. What ever we gotta do to get that dude back will be done did. No mountain too high or river too deep.
Come on back to us, Fishman. :)

Yeah, I'd take the vaccine. I'd hate to be some asymptomatic spreader and without knowing it pass it to someone at risk, also my wife's health has been suffering greatly in the last 2 years so I don't want to bring the virus home.
Personally I'd accept the very very small risk of having the vaccine in the hope that it mitigates the small risk of me giving the virus to someone else who is more vulnerable
very very small < small
Also for selfish reasons... if having a vaccine puts and end to all this life disrupting BS I'd have it today
-
Absolutely not. Don't know what the side effects are. I don't take a flu shot, either.
-
I will when its my turn. From what I am hearing that wont be till well into 2021.
Received the normal flu shot a few weeks ago. Had some mild side affects for a couple of days.
I get colds (had one in Sept) and the flu really badly, last Feb I was down for 3-4 days in bed with what I am sure was a flu. I think its because I have really bad allergies...overactive immune system...which is not a good sign.
-
Won’t have a choice. It will be mandatory just like the flu shot at work.
-
I saw some lady on ******** saying the vaccine will be the mark of the beast... at least no one has said that yet.
-
The first number in my age is a 7 and I live with someone that has COPD, so I'll definitely get vaccinated. I can't even get a flu shot until the beginning of January, though and I can only get it then, because of who I live with.
-

Really??? What I heard was that Bill Gates was using the vaccination to implant his nano chips in people. I wish these conspiracy theorists would be consistent. If they don't start getting more organized people will think they're some kind of wackos
-
Yes, and since I have public facing job will most likely to be required to. I am from Russia, all the stuff they injected us with in my childhood lol, corona vaccine is nothing :)

Same here. Never had a flu shot, never had the flu. Didn't get the H1N1 vaccine either.
I can't say for 100 percent certainty that I won't get the COVID vaccine.. but I know for sure I won't be one of the first to line up for it.
-
There are enough vaccine candidates out there now that it will depend on which one is offered. Efficacy and side effects vary (age seems to be a big factor in antibody development) and the endpoint data isn't there yet. And yes, I absolutely will get vaccinated eventually.
-
I've argued with my doctor for years over the relative effectiveness of the annual flu shot.
This Covid-19 monster appears to be a different animal. I think I might change my mind but I don't want to be first in line.

hehe, good one. :) And thanks for having my back on the Fishman thing, Greg. Seriously, it would be great if we could all reset and put the last few years of pettiness behind us. I'll sure as hell going to try, anyway. Life is too short to waste, period
This meaning no hard feelings cuz we all got a little bit emotional with the politics. and having feels is not only cool, but a strong indicator of true masculinity. Look that $hit up.

Tom, if I haven't said it, I just wanted to say that I like the cut of your jib. :)
oh yeah, and "no homo" for all you homos cuz I dont want you to get the wrong idea. Y'all got no chance.
-
I am thinking. Some may say “wow”. Yes. I feel marbles rollin’. So, vaccine is a virus, right? Some mild wussy mini-covid people will be volunteerly infected with. Why don’t we just travel to country with smallest covid-related mortality rate and have a big party? You need to be confirmed covid-free before travel though. Wouldn’t it be a fun way to get vaccinated? Ok, here is another one. If one kid in a classroom is vaccinated, will it not over time vaccinate the whole school? Vaccine is a virus, remember?
-
aha! here is one more, for helping. Vaccine may be a little harsh and actually kill elderly. Not maybe, but actually will. But the percentage will be so small that statistically it will be still worth it. If you think vaccination will make you safe around your infirm parents, well, this could be debated too. You may be perfectly adapted with antibodies and all, but carry other strains on you.
-
My mother got a flu shot last week and she was ill for 2 days. I can't imagine what a Covid vaccine would do.
