Col Sanders is probably rolling over in his grave.
Looks like eraser rubber.
Just wait, soon the colonel’s face will be replaced with bill gates ugly mug and it will be breaded bugs. You will be able to order directly from a government website. You will own nothing, but be happy because breaded bugs are better than unbreaded…
The only "good" thing is that it saves chicken's lives.

He will be retired by April 30, 2022.

And a jar of strawberry jam will cost $150.

Looking that way.
They tried those on The Five a week or so ago, everyone agreed they were nasty.
KFC's version of the Impossible Whopper, which actually is pretty good (the Whopper), except for the dry bun.

Curiosity got the best of me a couple years ago and I tried the plant whopper side by side with a real one and it wasn't all that bad...
the difference wasn't a much as I thought it was gonna be ...
but then again the plant whopper was masked with all the stuff they put on it...
there's no way to mask the taste of those KFC McNuggets unless you soak those things in BBQ sauce.

In later life he distanced himself from KFC and said it had changed so much it was no longer his recipe, so I don't think this makes much difference. Don't know if the method is the same worldwide, but in UK they don't/can't segregate the fryer oil, so the fries are not vegan so they sell a vegan burger but not a meal. I imagine that's why they brand it "beyond chicken" and not "vegan" (or vegetarian).
Pretty weird why they'd use a picture like that to entice people.

not edible says food dood..

Yuck!
Still going to go with the original recipe tenders. 3 of them are 300 calories(30g protein) ...no sauce . Eaten with a salad (no dressing) and water/black coffee is a tolerable lunch if no time to make my own. Only downside is the sodium.

KFC needed Bosko with his photography skills to make that stuff look edible, it would be flying off the shelves. Our boy Bosko could make sh!t on a shingle look palatable

LOL....that is horrid looking mass they are pushing as edible flesh.
Thing that gets me....WHY?
The macros are as bad as the real ones....are we out to save chickens lives at this point?
Maybe we should start a chickens lives matter campaign going...I'd do it but my hair is the wrong color and I still have my twig&beans.......;)

I recently listened to a podcast about cholesterol where they gave the history of when saturated fat was hypothesized to cause heart disease. It goes back to Ancel Keys in the 50's and 60's where he cherry picked data from countries that yielded a nice line of how increasing the percentage of calories from fat increased the rate of heart disease, but he omitted other countries like France who ate a high percentage of fat yet had a low rate of heart disease and Chile who ate little fat but had a high rate of heart disease.
When ADM came out with the veggie burgers ~30 years ago, a salesman of ours was talking to an ADM employee and said that he tried them but that he just didn't like the taste. The ADM employee said it was all in the preparation and he found that their "burgers" tasted bet when fried in BACON GREASE :D (true story).

If he gets to block out the sun, bug burgers may start looking pretty good.

Or just update his white face with a more inclusive black face.

I think I’d consider eating people before bugs…

That might be racist though.

Well yea, everything tastes better cooked in bacon grease. That fake chicken from KFC looks like it would really take a toll on your t levels. No thanks, I'll stick with the real ones...
Disgusting post MT. You are so out of date with your discriminatory ideas.
If those weird lumps self identifies as chicken then who are you to question its choice?? This is 2022. sickening...
No thanks, I'll stick to dog food.

Honesty, breaded and fried bugs sounds more appealing that those nuggets look.
