It depends on what type of training i have. If it is lifting, I'll choose something heavy like Architects, Slipknot, BFMV (old stuff)While She Sleeps and etc. If it is a cardio, my choice will be a UK Grime. Maybe it's only for me, but UK Grime gives me extra speed and stamina.

I like Tame Impala - Let it happen
Because of music

Pantera - Far Beyond Driven is my main motivator when I feel like I can't push throw a set or I have low energy in the gym. It always gets me pumped. :)
-
Heavy stuff from Incubus, Alice in Chains, Creed, and Stone Temple Pilots help me smash my workouts. However, I also like listening to music from Elevation Worship and Hillsong United whilst cranking out reps at the gym.
-
as mentioned above, also dig the pantera, alice in chains, and STP's sex type thing was on all the lifting playlists as well as a healthy balance of metallica.
keeping classics like danzig's mother as well, but have added a lot of rammstein, disturbed, A7X, 5 finger death punch, parkway drive, machine head, and motionless in white over the last few years too.

I listen to a lot of punk and indie and pop punk. I recently started listening to rap and pop which is the only kind of music I enjoy and the kind that people who listen to it can understand and appreciate. Its a good mix of songs and lyrics and it keeps me in good shape
-

"The Heat is On" by Glenn Frey
There is nothing like a blazing saxophone riff to get adrenaline.
The reverse of the single vocal lines is nothing more than a pentatonic finish. I always found that this 80's sound was far from the Eagles stuff. Now I know it's: A Faltermeyer song!
I listen to this inspiring song while practicing keyboard typing. It will inspire me. I use the wpm test online tool to check my typing speed. This tool is free and does not require any installation.

For me it has always been "Can't be Touched" by Roy Jones Jr. And here's my playlist, I am sure a lot of you listen to these on a daily basis.
