A guy down the road from me got out of the Army and came home in one very similar to this, there was an old abandoned runway in the next town over and everyone would go there to drag their cars, This was something to see, I never seen anyone beat him
^^^ this reminds me of a 1983 John Carpenter film "Christine." based on S. King's novel.

I'm just old enough to remember the 1960's, one of the fondest was the music. As a kid my parents had the radio on all day and all those fantastic tunes are imbedded in my brain especially from The Beatles. I had a very happy upbringing and love stuff from the past that reminds me of it.

TV sets were too expensive these days and even if you have one there weren't many programs on the air. So we listened to radios. :)

You're right. I haven't seen him. He may not believe it, but I like him. Elrond and I don't agree on politics. He leans left and I'm a hardcore anti-gubmint pro-freedom right-winger. But I love interacting with him because of Yin-Yang. Without balance, there is only imbalance.

I loved the 60's era music and it's evolution....this one is a good example. (among others)
I got out of the military in June '69 and my music path began during these times.
Have a great day everyone....

I think the story goes with that song... I was supposed to be In the Garden of Eden... but they were tripping balls so hard when they recorded it, it turn out the way it did and they just rolled with it.
Music and cars were the best things about the 60 imo and I wasn't even around for the 60s.
I love modern day muscle cars because of obvious technological upgrades and improved gas mileage. But you just can't beat the style of the 60s versions.
My car is great... but the 1969 version is the zhit

Howdy Sam....
Sure....I just hit my 74th year a month ago.
Somehow....I'm above the dirt again this morning so life is good and no whining from me.
Have a great day weed hoppers....
Howdy Sam....
Got your note....I thank you. (I'm on spread w/everyone)
The years have passed very quickly, that's for damn sure.
Hopefully, I'll have another decade or so left to pollute this forum.
Plus....I have another original I'm finishing up so I can't croak any time soon. :)
Thanks again....
