I agree but big tech has exponentially more power over elections than these rich donors.

Eh, big tech's been a factor for what, 15 years? The rich have been influencing and crafting US policy toward their own aims forever.

Why does the period of time of impact matter? The point is today in today's elections big tech sways millions of votes with their censorship and can control elections in ways mega-donors and even rival nations could only dream of.
