215 lbs | 6 ft | Bf 25 %
Hello everyone,
I’ve been bulking for a Year and Gained 45 lbs. My Bodyfat is now at about 25% and I want to cut now. How many calories should I eat? I see many people on here saying that they cut at 1500-1800 calories but that would be a drastic and unhealthy change from 4500 Calories. So, what should I do?
Thanks in Advanced:)

Well, if for example, you were gaining 1lb a week, your maintenance is about 500 calories lower than what you are eating now. Then take off maybe another 800 to account for a good sized deficit. Try that for 2 weeks, weigh yourself every morning - and adjust again after that if you aren't losing 1-1.5lbs a week.

Cutting at 1500 would be appropriate if you were a foot shorter and a hundred pounds lighter.
If your eating 4,500 calories I don’t see any issues cutting down to 3,500-3,700. It’s not like your going from 2,500 calories to 1,500. 4,500 is a lot. therefore cutting 1,000 calories isn’t as big of a deal
