Golly. I googled that and discovered it's a $160 water sprayer! Crazy!
Professional eh. You going into the car washing business, Greg? :)

Hmmm.
Nice spray thing Mr. Heisenber.., I mean Greg.
Hopefully the foam cannon will help limit the amount of scratches and swirl marks that I make on my vehicles as I wash them in the future.
I just finished a week long multi-step paint correction project on my 2002 Chevy S-10. I was able to compound and polish out most of the light and medium scratches as well as the swirl marks using a random orbital polisher with different foam cutting pads. Pretty much idiot proof using this type polisher with the foam pads. To get deeper scratches out, you would have to use a circular polisher with either lambs wool or microfiber pads. That type polisher requires a skilled user as it is easy to cut through your paint using something that aggressive.
Remember, anytime that you touch your paint with anything, you are scratching it to some degree.
My brand new truck even had light scratches and swirl marks on it straight from the dealer. I corrected those a month or so ago.

The 3 eaglets are transitioning from being covered in "down" to growing actual feathers.

My, haven't they grown! It's been awhile since I've checked in on your beautiful eagles and eaglets.
I'm relieved to see all three alive and well and also looking very healthy. Way to go Mum and Dad! :p

bigzakbowski I was looking for you as I cursed your name yesterday.
I'd had a back and forth with thebigzakbowski over rejoining the 3 plate club as a goal from last year and have been slaving away at adding 10lbs per week or 30 lbs to my bench per month via old man muscle memory. Anyhow I did an ascending pyramid up to 225 then a descending pyramid from 225 including the part where the Oly bar was so light I was basically tossing it for form.
Reracked it on the J hooks heard a loud metal smacking sound the moment I saw stars, lighting, some guy (me) said holy chit. I think I bounced the bar off the hook as I was getting up and it slipped off slapped me hard in the head and got caught on the safety bar. It smarted something fierce. Didn't crack anything open, no blood, everything tastes the same. Also did my taxes last night, so this 'head injury' might get us an audit, time will tell.
Since this seems to be O35 Gym Accident month, I'd like to close with: Please re-rack and put your equipment away safely!

It's all good if you got through it without changing your facial expression and after a quick look around nobody was staring at you in disbelief. :)

A Wooden book should be well worth the read.

They sent me home with a brace. So far, minimal pain. Up and around when I need to be. I had a similar procedure a few years ago on the other side. Only concern is trying to get back to normal too soon. I am going to stay on the meds for at least 24 hours. Should get me through the worst of it. It did last time.

Micro discectomy. L4/5. They were a mess. All good now. Had the other side done about 4 years ago. Pretty easy recovery. The issue is not trying to come back too fast.

How they remove "portions" of a disc and people are able to recover properly is beyond me. That is the same level of my artificial disc. It appears to be a level that comes into play when deadlifting...;) Slow and steady on your rehab. Glad the procedure went well...

Thank you good sir. I do have a cadaver bone in my neck. That actually went well too. Been about 8 years or so. Not sure exactly.
The picking out pieces of ruptured/damaged discs escapes me as well. The recovery time is as much it more for the incision in my back as it is for the discs. They cut deep, and pull the muscles out of the way. Ugh.

Brack glad to hear you're doing well post op. I'm keeping everything crossed that all
continues to go well for you. Take care and give yourself time to recover :)

Wasn't sure what people were talking about, read back a bit. Good luck and recovery Brack!

Thank you Louise. I’m optimistic. I have a tremendous surgeon. It’s all up to me now. :)

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I’m averaging about one procedure every three years. Thankfully, none are a result of actual lifting of weights. They are due to lifting heavy stuff, and as careful as I am, I still managed to screw it up.
-
Hope you recover well Brackney and that there are no junior mints related complications.

That will aide in your recovery

Thank you sir. Day 2, and yup, pain level is up there. I expected it, but still, ouch.
