Anybody have any good reading/videos on blending strongman and powerlifting training? I've been checking out a lot of Brian alsure stuff, and as always reading and watching Josh Bryant.
Happy new year homies.
Also, apparently if you quit lifting for 6 months and lose 30 pounds you get weak as fuuuuuuu
Happy new year bruh, Kalle Beck or old Juggernaut might have some ideas for you.

This Larry + Thor collab has been pretty cool so far. Pretty excited to see how Larry does at the SM show(s).
Apparently he's doing LA fit expo to try to qualify for the ARnold amateur, and if compete in that if he does.

Big time
I am a big fan of his, but I don't think most people who aren't fans or dislike him, actually dislike him because of what he does, but instead because his fanboys are super annoying.

just found these a couple days ago, ordered a pair of elbow and pair of knee bc so inexpensive. elbow sleeves came in today, they seem solid enough compared to other sleeves I've used before.
But yeah they have knee sleeves too. That's the canadian amazon, i checked on american amazon and they have them there too.
I'll update maybe later if they work well or if they end up falling apart quickly.

Ill be interested in a later update. I need another pair of elbow sleeves. I have iron rebel ones because I got them at a huge discount, but they are only 5" long, and don't cover enough of my forearm.
Also, is there any good flat squat shoes out there. I've been using chucks, but I want something that offers more support. Metal ones look decent. Are there any other options for flats?

Yea, they're just generic sleeves kinda like the slingshot sleeves. You can get them off AliExpress for $12.

If you just need elbow sleeves they'd be worth a shot I'd say based on initial feel.
I like the mark bell reebok shoes.

I just got the Sabo Goodlifts, they are built very much like a oly shoe just without a heel. I think they're a bit wider than metals and seem cheaper/easier to find as well

These look like they exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks.

Knee sleeves are in too, used them today. Quality wise I'd say it's the same exact stuff as the titan sleeves I have, which I really like too. The older model ones, rather than the yellowjacket ones.
Anyway I'm gonna pick up another couple pairs when I get a bit of money probably.

Highlights:
Furthering the kieliszkowski/licis rivalry (friendly but they will battle for years)
Pritchett deadlift should be on point for the Arnold
There are a lot of insanely strong humans out there (talking about the other competitors)

Looking forward to having the garage open again and being able to use mine. I really like the ssb, even though it's awful. No upper body joint stress, less load.

Just ordered one last week, supposed to arrive Jan 30. Never touched one before, my angus is peppered.

I'm taking the next 6 months to gain as much muscle and size as possible and then switching to powerlifting. I want to do it and compete again. The iron warrior within me is telling me to do this. I've been getting subliminal messages lately and that's what it's all telling me; do what I have always loved to do so I can be happy. I'm going to get strong really ****ing quick come June. I will be making my comeback in powerlifting. I will become bigger, faster and stronger than i have ever been. I know I can do it. I have all the faith and confidence in myself.
Michael Eaton trains at my gym including his whole family. I just met his youngest son and he advised me to get in contact with his father which I will come June. Hope these next 6 months fly by quick.
Btw, I've been in the gym for over a month already busting my ass.

Upper back boutta feel it.
Larry looks like things went decently day one, he apparently messed up pretty hard on the farmers so lost a ton of points, seems like the overhead and mas wrestling went well from what I've seen.
YT worldsstrongestfan.
Wish I could find a standings sheet. More events tomorrow.

Jen/Powerlifting needs more votes. She's finally pulled very slightly ahead but not by nearly enough. It can go anyway right now.
