Pre workout snack
Comment only if you do not train fasted. My usual pre workout snack is one of the below:
> An apple or pear
Or
> Unsweetend GreekYo with PB Powder / Coffee Powder
Or
> 5 Boiled Egg whites
Or
> Energy Bar (When I have absolutely nothing in my kitchen)
Any other light snack you consume? Would like to try new options. Milk/whey/banana pre does not settle well with me before workout.

You can have any pre-workout snack that allows you perform your best at the gym.
I found my sweet spot to be high protein, low carbs (around an hourr and a half) before my workout.

I usually go for pb & banana or overnight proats with banana~ super quick and simple

I work out in the evenings after I put my daughter to bed, so my "pre workout snack" is my dinner.

Been having a rice cake with peanut butter and strawberry jelly spread on top, along with pieces of banana on top.
Taste great and is light on the stomach before hitting the gym.

my go-to is just proatmeal and coffee... usually 60-70g of oats (raw weight), scoop of protein, raisins... start lifting a little under 2 hours later and i'm good to go.
That, or cereal + protein powder.

0% ***e greek yogurt + fresh fruit + 1 cup granola.

1/4 of a large watermelon.

White rice + some butter/oil
Need to wait 2 hours before lifting.

I must have whole grain carbs to perform optimally in gym. Foods like fruits and potatoes don't give me the sustained energy levels that whole grains do. Eat what allows you to perform optimally.
