yo, i'm in GA too but i'm in dekalb.
anyways. this year is gonna suck.. i'm sitting at 180ish and will be wrestling 189 this year.. last year i wrestled 171.

i wrestled 140 last year and gonna have to either wrestle 145 or 152 this year. we dnt have a real coach this year either.gonna suck bad.

I wrestled 135 last year. I'm wrestling 140 this year.
I looked up who im going to most likely have to wrestlin on nov 19th and he is a skinny cross country kid.lol my plan is a quick takedown and not give him time to try anything

how much will wrestling interfere with bbing?
is wrestling a lot different than bjj? (because i did this for a year)

Thinking about doing wrestling for my first time.. Trying to get up some strength before I cut back down to 152.

Nobody makes you cut. They just encourage it.
Wrestling is more focused on losing body fat/muscle (hence the whole cutting part). And you will most likely be too exhausted to go to the gym after practice so I suggest you either go in the morning or eat a good pre-workout meal/supp after practice.
BJJ is similar with takedowns. However on the mat it is a lot different. In BJJ it's ok to have your back facing the mat. In wrestling, that's a pin. Ground fighting is a little different

yea try to get those up. train low rep and switch back to barbell on bench.Our 152 last year was big as hell. lifts were pretty high.

battle of baltimore bjj competition this week.
wrestling starts nov 15th. walking around at about 185 ish will probably try to wrestle 171=/. ugh i hate cutting
