early stoppage
seemed like a pretty early stoppage.
i agree with this let it be more decisive to get the belt but that was a beautiful right hand
Sean’s whAtever but I’m so glad to see aljo dethroned
Won the belt by being a *******
Wrestle fuked his first defense, was boring
Beat a 1 armed TJ
Henry fight was close, respect there
But didn’t feel like he was the real deal
Have a hard time seeing Sean keeping the belt for too long tho
When Merabs healed he’s def wrestle fuk him to death
It's going to be interesting now.
I think Sandhagen takes it against O malley
Nah, it's a good stoppage. Earlyish but he was done.
Chite, never thought I'd see the day this skinny ****git would get the belt. Surreal.
Wow props for aljo for not saying it was an early stoppage (I thought it was) and/or a fluke. Gained a bit of respect in my book.
sean is gonna knock aljo out, callin it
yup
Marc Goddard the king of early stoppages
But I'm glad that Aljo sh*tstain is done. DQ and questionable split decision wins, that ain't it.
Aljo was on the ground bleeding from the eye (orbital fracture?) and getting hammered. Good stoppage IMO.
Phenomenal right hand
I thought the stoppage was early at first but Aljo's eye does look bad and he probably would've got put to sleep not long after
Early stoppage but Sterling has gotten the benefit of the doubt too many times so fuk it. He lost to Yan twice and to Cejudo.
respect to Aljo's response
I hate O'Malley
I hate Garry
Both trying to be the GOAT McGregor ripoffs
Bullchit stoppage by Goddard. Aljo was blocking most of those shots from the bottom and was rolling out of it.
Respect to Omalley though. He looked good in there and what a hell of a right hand. Love seeing people achieve their dream.

Are you fukkn high? He dominated the Yan rematch and most definitely beat the midget CCC. No question.
I hated aljo after the Yan 1 oscar performance as everyone else did but the way he came back and beat the chit out of Yan and left no question, he earned my respect that night.
Sean seems to have pretty good grappling defense, might not be that easy to take him down.

are you just repeating what rogan said about the yan rematch? it was a split decision, he had back takes but did no damage (kinda like islam vs volk minus the punches volk threw when islam took his back), and got fuked up in rounds 4 and 5
he didnt even come close to dominating the fight

I didnt even hear what rogan said. I watched the fight with my own two eyes.
Imagine putting any weight on what the judges scored it. The judges lost credibility long long ago. Split decision my ass.
Watch the fight again with no volume. Aljo beat yan handedly. I was full blown team Yan for that fight as well. Wanted Aljo to lose after the oscar performance so no biased opinion here.

i re watched the fight like 3 nights ago. i had it 48-47 for sterling due to dominant positions in rounds 1 to 3, but it wasnt an impressive, let alone dominant win given how rounds 4 and 5 went. yan did more damage in those two rounds than sterling did in rounds 1 to 3 combined
EDIT: sterling even admitted in the octagon interview that yan beat the fuk out of him in the 4th and 5th rounds

He lost all 3 fights, Yan beat the piss out of him, he had to start looking for a way out
Respect to Sterling for that post fight interview though.
NO excuses, no protest of early stoppage and gave props where it's due.
Can't wait to see Sandhagen, Merab,Yan and even CCC maybe fight for the belt again.
Suga show crew.

this seems so rigged. ufc instantly posting the fight on twitter, dana recording it and posting it on twitter
i called it to so not salty. just very sus.
I was up 50 from 25 and then blew it on aljo lol.
Great card imo, the atmosphere was fantastic.

Ian's kind of a pussy for not trying harder for the stoppage. Dude couldn't even stand up properly
What a bitter sweet UFC 292's main event was.. A guy i wanted to see lose, lost but he lost to a guy i wanted to see lose. Also what did Magny say about hitting kids or whatever that set Garry off?

He said something about the levels of beating people. For instance, you take it kinda easy when you beat/discipline kids. You go a little harder beating up your buddies. And you go extra hard against your enemies (Garry).
Dumb choice of words/analogy, and Ian just capitalized on it.

I was pretty close. Basically he was saying he was going to beat Ian Garry like he beats his son lmao.
Like I said, poor choice of words. He thought he was being funny, but it fell pretty flat and Garry capitalized on it.
