Is this good progress?
Bit of a newbie to weight lifting but I've started the Liift4 workout program and wanted to know if I was making good progress after the first 4 weeks.
(I have a scale which can measure body fat and muscle specifically)
Before starting program:
Male - 6ft 3, age 30
80.55kg overall
11.5% body fat
67.75kg muscle mass
After 4 weeks:
83.10kg
12.0% body fat
69.46kg muscle mass
That equals:
Muscle mass increase of 1.71kg
Body fat increase of 0.71kg
Is that a good amount of muscle gained in that time? Is that a good muscle:fat gain ratio? Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks

That would be awesome progress, though 1.7 kg of muscle in 4 weeks is unlikely. I'd be very happy if I got that in a year!
