politics and social media, yay or nay?
We were talking, and for the most part my roommates are relieved that the election is over so now social media can "go back to normal" aka people will stop posting/tweeting/sharing politics-related news and opinions. One of my roommates said that her "greatest pet peeve" was when people tweet or post about politics on Twitter and ******** (at any time, not just election season).
What do you think?
I'm someone who does occasionally (or as anyone who's my friend might say, "often") post/tweet about socio-political issues I'm concerned about. But I feel like one of the benefits of social media is choice. What shows up on your feed is up to you. You can follow who you want, unfollow who you want; friend who you want and unfriend who you want. ******** is one better in that you can hide friends' posts without actually de-friending them.
So... politics on social media... yay, or nay?
