It's their biggest map ever and also the most alive/detailed. 105gb is crazy but so is the game so I'm ok with it, fuark 2 weeks to go!
What has me really excited is the fact that Rockstar games historically run very well with few if any bugs. They're QC is great, and a game this complex is going to benefit from that greatly.
Very true. Rockstar is legit. And they don't even show up at e3 or any of that ****. They know we know what we're getting and that this game is going to be the best game in a long time.
GTA V is one of my favorite games.

Is it worth it to upgrade to the PS4 Pro for this game?

Comments itt are making me worried that my PS4 slim won't handle the game well or something...

Think I'm gonna do a midnight release.
Hell, some stores have it out before hand. Anybody know which stores usually release a day prior?
I’m half excited for this game, half not. The Wild West setting has never really interested me

Just upgraded to the pro because I got 200 for trading in my slim and the RDR bundle is 400 with the game. But I saw some spiderman ps4 vs pro footage on youtube and it looks the same on both systems unless you zoom into chit. Not sure if it will be any different for the RDR2...
think im just gonna go for it and buy an xbox one x. you win rockstar you greedy kents well played

sometimes they don't look too much different but the pro runs it smoother. either way you goo tho pro or regular version it will still look good.

Sounds like you haven't play the 1st game.
It'll interest you, especially this game with all the new features. Just imagine being a bad ass cowboy in the huge, huge, wild wild west. The graphics will be insane, very immersive. Animals galore that can and will kill you, dangerous thugs that will rob you, etc. Red Dead Redemption is gonna slaughter everything short from God Of War and Spiderman.
The only downside I can think of Rockstar game is their open world. Witcher 3 and Fallout, there is always something that grabs my attention and pulls me away from quests. It could be a secret cave, tunnel, hidden treasures, etc. With Rockstar games, their worlds tend to be more on the empty side with nothing to really draw your attention.

This is rockstar's biggest most detailed game yet. And by the looks of things it seem's pretty much confirmed that:
Click at your own risk. (map spoiler)
New Austin and Mexico are returning all remastered
I'm going to be so fukin pissed off if this game is laggy on my PS4 slim. You shouldn't have to upgrade your console for a game to run well.

It won't, they're always specced for the base

Yeah, it'll be fine.
Gaming on the Pro means you're playing the game with the Pro patch applied. Base PS4 will of course be using base game.
There may be a few slight FPS drops in certain areas, especially if there are large battles or whatever but this has always been the case with latest gen games. It's certainly not massively noticeable.
Nice

Apparently the trophy leaker lied about game size, so it's not confirmed 50GBs...

always wanted to play the first game, but it never came out for PC master race, so had to miss it. I rarely play any games these days, but am thinking about making an exception for RDR2 if it actually makes the big leagues and comes out for PC. I always pick up GTA titles and played witcher 3 and fallout 4, usually just the mega releases, especially shooter based games. I love the wild west setting, so hope this one is actually ported over, because theres no value to me in picking up a console when I dont have time or want to play online type games.

Dude buy a ps4 pro like the poster above. This game is not worth waiting by any means. There are games this year that you can wait on, but this is not one of them. And you don't have to buy online games, as Ps4 has a ton of single player games that are top notch.
And seeing as you didn't play the 1st, you'll enjoy it regardless. Game will easily be a 9/10 at least.

i was surprised witcher 3 , which had a ton of content, was only 35gb
