There is an attractive lady at my gym that mentioned to me something about being a friend with benefits. She mentioned something about a mixed salad or something like that. I'm not sure what to take on all this. What would you do?

I would post pics.
I hate the word 'attractive.' Since when is 'attractive' a compliment? Sorry to sound stuck-up. I'll go now.
You must plan on munching her naughty bits or something...
Happened to a friend of mine. He went to meet her , they went to a hotel. Next thing he remembered was waking up in a bathtub full of ice missing one of his kidneys. I guess the “benefit” she had was a surgeon that operated for free.

Reality is sexist. In the SMV, women are sex objects, men are success objects

lol what are you talking about?
You sound like the kind of person who would hear "You look nice today" and respond with "Oh, so I don't look good OTHER days?"

If I felt like pursuing, I would offer my salad dressing.
@ Adam & GayCumlord: I meant that "attractive" is not a word used to describe a sex symbol. I'm not trying to offend, it's just that if a guy came up to me and called me "attractive" I would turn him down immediately. I guess I got spoiled from my 'glory days.'

Lol… ok? Maybe he’s just not into the modern language.
When I hear attractive, I hear a synonym for cute/hot…
And he wasn’t even asking if he should give the word as a compliment…
You’re over thinking this whole thing
This is why I would never tell a woman she is attractive. I just tell her she is a handsome woman.

I find "matronly" works well

Funny, I've heard women say that "hot" is offensive and they would prefer something more implicit and less objectifying like "attractive."
Perhaps the objection is nothing more than a veiled attempt to extract additional compliments? ;)

Stop talking to her and delete her number if you have it.
Unless you want your wife taking half of whatever you own then you’re stuck eating salad.
I never used to date, only fwb’s for many years. Those were fun days but having a live in gf that’s 24 years younger than me is working well.
A good salad recipe should be posted now.

'Attractive, 'cute, 'hot'.... different adjectives that mean different things.
I was having a discussion about this same topic in the misc the other day. They pretended it all meant the same thing too.
I'll go now.

One-Pot Potato and Edamame Salad
5 fingerling potatoes
2 large eggs
1/2 cup frozen shelled edamame
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 medium sweet onion, thinly sliced
1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
1 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Salt
Pepper
Preparation
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes; boil 20 minutes. Carefully add eggs and boil 5 minutes more. Add edamame and boil 4 minutes more, until potatoes are cooked through and edamame is bright green. Drain into a colander.
Run eggs under cold water and set aside to cool slightly. When potatoes are cool enough to handle, halve each one lengthwise.
In a bowl, stir together vinegar, oil, onion, and herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
Add warm potatoes and edamame and toss to coat.
Peel and quarter eggs and add them to potato salad.

Re: discussion above, approaching women to call them hot, attractive, etc. is weird.
Compliment their hair/clothes. Compliment their strength (and none of that “for a girl” bull****). Don’t be a creep.
But on the original subject of salads, eat what makes you happy OP.

I know there are some wanna-be playas that believe insulting women on a certain level will make them want you more somehow... A couple of the them IRL have told me about their strategies but I wasn't interested in whether or not it worked for them. I doubt it did. Women aren't stupid and they know when compliments and put-downs intended for them real or not, as well as for other women. We're intuitively gifted in this way, no matter how men may try to "flatter" us.

Sorry this thread took a different turn.. lol. It wasn't about your lady friend at all!! I just get sick and tired of reading too much BS from the misc dungeon; they overuse a few words such as attractive, hot, HBB, pr0n, sloots and a few others I probably can't repeat up here.... But I don't take it seriously anymore.
I hope things work out well with your new love interest/admirer. Maybe just don't tell her she's 'attractive.' ;)

It's just an ocean full of degenerates over there.
If I said there is no degeneracy here, what I really mean is that it exists to some extent.

Maybe they mean different things to you...
If a woman called me any of those, I'd consider it a compliment, and a very similar one.
