^^This right here. Unless you're buying casein for the thickness or nutritional profile you wouldn't notice a difference between it and a blend.

You don't need to use both types of protein powders either, though you can of course
well I am using just gold standard 100 whey to reach my protein intake, and i was thinking on getting the casein for before bed time, because i have a very busy schedule, and i am just eating 4 times a day and two shakes in between with oats or just the shake by itself, but since i workout late nite i take my post workout shake around 11 pm and then i try to eat some sort of slow digesting protein before bedtime. so i was thinking of casin supplement any advise is highly appreciated. thanks

Don't worry about a slow digesting protein before bedtime. Just hit your daily calorie and macro goals each day, and grab whatever kind of protein for your post shake
