Who should I roster right now?
Perine- twisted ankle and messy backfield
Aaron Jones - suspended 2 games and messy backfield
wouldn't even consider perine cause he's a fumbler in a gruden system, where fumbling is a guaranteed way to hit the bench. It's Jones here for me, but I wouldn't shy away from rostering Rob Kelley if the skins don't pick anyone else up.
im keeping DJ in the 10th round and drafting Zeke over Bell at #1 overall spot in .5 ppr. Call me crazy but Zekes gonna go SS3 this season. I would go Gurley but hes being kept
You’re crazy. Bell over zeke all day, every day.

Jones. Williams sucks and Montgomery is gonna be the third down back.

oof. Even if they sign him and give him the touches ..he'll be nothing more than what Frank Gore was during the Indy years

I have the 2nd pick in a 12 team 1/2 ppr 1 keeper league. Bell, Zeke, and Gurley are all being kept. Assuming DJ goes 1, would I be crazy to go with Kamara or Saquon at 2 instead of someone like Brown?
-
What are everyone’s thoughts on Arob right now? Drafted him yesterday in the 5th but not feeling super confident about it. Seems like Burton is getting all the hype on that offense.
-
clear cut huh? not even a discussion
especially in ppr. i'm sure they'll try and get zeke more involved in the pass game, but Bell will still end up with 40-50 more receptions.

more worried about how Trubisky will progress. I think ARob is still good, but I'm probably looking elsehwere in the 5th.

Not crazy. I like Barkley at #2 at your position. Workhorse RB's are scarce. I would take him over AB and Kamara without hesitation. I probably have 3 of those guys ranked right next to each other so it is close, but I think Barkley's upside and guaranteed workload is too good to pass up. Dude is incredibly talented, and should never be taken off the field when healthy.

just to play devil's advocate but I really could see Zeke getting close to 400 carries like Demarco did a few years ago. That would put him as a lock for 1600 yards with a decent YPC. You also have to consider touchdowns too. I wouldn't be surprised if he had 20 total touchdowns. Leveon never really puts up huge TD numbers because of AB

Why is everyone higher on Diggs than Thielen? Cousins prefers slot receivers which is Thielen
Why is everyone higher on Diggs than Thielen? Cousins prefers slot receivers which is Thielen
I don't think anyone can predict who is going to be Cousin's favorite target. It just depends on who he gels with as the season goes on. Right now I'd base it off ceiling potential because I think their floors are similar. I believe Diggs has a higher ceiling.

I'm curious to see how that plays out as well. With that defense though Cook will be the primary beneficiary.
Why is everyone higher on Diggs than Thielen? Cousins prefers slot receivers which is Thielen
I am just skeptical that Thielen will be able to replicate last year's numbers. It seemed to me like a career year and his baseline is more like the previous year, which was like 60-900 instead of 90-1200. That's still fine for a WR2/3 6th/7th or so pick. That's where I'm rating Thielen, but I doubt he'll last that long in any draft. Diggs is by far the better talent (and really, it's been missing games that's held him back more than anything else).
-
ARob hasn't put up a good season in 3 years. Yes, he was injured last year, but he wasn't injured in 2016 and he put up a dud. I'm not sure why everyone thinks he's going to immediately step into his form from THREE seasons ago like nothing happened.

A-Rob was a 1st/high 2nd pick 2 years ago after his monster year. You'd have to be pretty autistic to even consider him that high now.
Why is everyone higher on Diggs than Thielen? Cousins prefers slot receivers which is Thielen
There's a pretty widely held belief that Diggs can be a top 5 WR if everything lines up for him this season. We also aren't sure if we've seen already seen Thielen's best year of his career - Same can't be said for Diggs.

I think it's a poor strategy to not go DJ/Gurley/Bell/Zeke/AB in any sort of PPR league if you're picking within the top 5. Not saying Kamara or Saquon aren't 1st round picks, but there are better options to optimize production out of such a high draft position.
I also personally rather take OBJ or Hopkins before the remaining RB options in the 1st if all five of the guys I mentioned above are off the board (Again, in PPR leagues).

Kenny Golladay is taking starting snaps from Golden Tate on the outside in 2-WR sets. This makes sense since Golladay is much bigger and a better athlete, so he will be much more useful in run blocking than Tate. It points to a potential breakout year for Golladay and makes him a good late round upside flier. I'd fade Tate just a bit, too, but not really too much since most of his catches come from the slot in 3-WR sets anyway. If Golladay does have a breakout year, it'll likely be more at Jones expense than Tate.

He looked great in their last game, the Chargers starting O was really clicking, and they are talking about getting Gordon more involved in the pass game this year. I think he is a prime candidate to break into the elite circle this year.

Any one here use the flea flicker platform? Curious as to whether or not there an option for player head shots to be displayed. User interface is currently atrocious.

Don't hate that option either. I'm reasonably high on Gordon too. It would likely be OBJ > Hopkins/Gordon. Would be a coin flip on the latter.

Chrome browser giving anyone else a ton of lag with yahoo mock drafts?
Runs fine on my phone and on microsoft edge browser, chrome is incredibly slow lately just with the mock draft room

Joe Mixon. Going early 3rd round.
Thoughts on him at that draft position?
Gio is still there to steal passing down work and they drafted RB Mark Walton in the 4th rd.

Between Jeremy Hill and Mixon I've wasted 3 years trying to use them in my lineups. I've given up on Cincy RBs.

Agreed. Cincy's backfield hasn't been great and one I avoid. I see Mixon going 2nd-3rd round which amazes me. Mixon hasn't done anything worth that draft pick.
