fuark brahs my jimmies are slightly rustled atm
was unaware of 'pay immediately' (still a newbrah @ this), so like 3 people have bought something but haven't paid yet. it's only been a day so its not a big deal at all, but i've sold all 15 in the past 3 days, and there is a pretty hot demand for it and i just want these fukers to either pay or cancel so i can sell those 3
but like, i havent printed a shipping label or anything for the 3 because ebay suggests not to, obviously i shouldn't ship til they pay right...?

If he doesn't reply, open a case with eBay.

Definitely don't ship it until you have payment. 'Pay immediately' is the bomb. Start a non payment claim after 3 days if they haven't made contact with you, usually it 'scares' people into paying.

Sounds like they need negative feedback, what does their other feedback say? any other negative comments mentioning fakes?

How do you guys acquire phones to swap? I live in the chicagoland area and it seems that craigslist isnt an option. The ads advertising that they will buy broken phones outnumber the ads selling them and everyone that sells wants a ton more than they are worth. Anytime I find a decently priced phone I message them within 30 minutes of the ad posting and they already have a buyer lined up. ****s aggravating.

I search 3GS a few times a day on CL. Buy 3-4 a week for $50 or less. Unlock them, list them on eBay unlocked, sell them all for $125-150.
Also usually find one or two 4G Android or Windows phones a week around the $50 mark. Thursday I found an HTC Radar listed for $40, sold it on Friday for $125. I make the Android/Windows phone sales on CL though. eBay is too inconsistent on them in my experience.
The easiest way to make money, at least here, is to buy big lots of the Beats by Dre replicas from iOffer for $10 each, then just list them on CL as brand new replicas for $35. They sell all fukkin day long to college kids and hoodrats that just want to look cool with them.
Never seen this thread before. Subb'd now though. I camp craigslist on the daily finding **** I can resell there or on eBay. This week so far I've gotten a couple 3GS's for $50, a Sirius Sportser with car hookup kit for $20, a Cleveland Launcher XL 270 in perfect condition for $50, a completely perfect condition pair of TB X11's for $10, that HTC Radar for $40, and a 4s for $125.
In my city (Memphis), all you have to do is just search All For Sale and set the price limit, I do $1500, and you'll find at least a few items per day you can easily flip for double your investment.
It is against the law to sell any replica whether you state that it is or not. It's a blatent violation of copyright law. I'm a paralegal. You cannot legally sell any counterfeit or replica bag. If you send it through the U.S. Postal Services you've committed postal fraud as well as violating federal and state laws by selling the replica in the first place.
And the online replica places are violating the law. They get shut down and spring up again with new names and web addresses. But don't think you can't get in trouble. They just recently arrested a jailed a woman in New Jersey for throwing purse parties selling replicas. Didn't matter that she told people they were replicas. It's against the law. I've seen people prosecuted on Craigslist where the buyers won as well, and where they were prosecuted both criminally and on a civil law basis. One I actually saw case law on was just one purse. We're not talking huge reseller. One purse, but the buyer went after her. She was convicted, put on probation and had to pay restitution.
People can do jail time if they get caught and the value is high enough. As well they should. You break the law, you should take the consequences. Also - it's not a defense in any state in the country to claim you didn't know it was a replica. You can still be prosecuted. Ignorance is not a defense. I'm continuously amazed when people think it's okay to break the law as long as they admit they are doing it. Prosecution is the same, whether you admit guilt or not. People may find themselves with a pretty unpleasant surprise if they go ahead and sell a replica thinking nothing will happen. Not everyone will sit back and just take it. But yes - it's against the law whether you say it's a replica or not, and you can be prosecuted on both a criminal and civil basis. Not a risk I'd want to take. Just think of an employer at a new job running credit and criminal background checks and you've been arrested and/or convicted for violating state and federal laws. Not something I'd want on my record for the rest of my life, and I've seen enought copyright and trademark infringement case law to know that it can and does happen. Frankly, I wish it happened more. Unfortunately, there are not enough investigators to cope with the scope of the problem. I sure wouldn't take the risk though. All it takes is a buyer coming after you. And you'd be surprised. One of the case law examples I saw was where someone posed as a "knowing it's a replica" buyer and then went after the seller. They won, and the DA took the case as well. It was a sting-type operation. I've seen it get prosecuted via purse parties, internet, ebay, Bonanza and others.
Link to someone being prosecuted criminally for copyright infringement?
Yea you're still breaking copyright law if you state they're replicas, but you absolve yourself of the criminal charge liabilities. Which are essentially just different variations of fraud.
And I obviously don't ship them across state lines, or ship them anywhere for that matter.
I'm aware I could be destroyed in civil court if whatever corporation that makes Beats found out about some kid in TN selling some fake ones and decided it was worth their time and expenses to come down here to sue me. Not particularly worried about that.

Anything under $250 doesn't require signature confirmation so send them like you would anything else.
