Too much :( Why does honey have to be so god damn good...? It's the only food worthy of the "nectar, food of the gods" title, in my opinion.
Bee puke rocks!

Yes, honey is great tasting, but unfortunately its 1/2 fructose, so can't be consumed except as cheat, not even PWO
Raw (unpasteurized) honey is a great natural sweetener, as long as you don't overdo it. Don't count your calories, make your calories count!

oh man this is exactly what i was going to use it for. I was going to put 1 tbsp in my PWO shake...guess not anymore
WOW! I thought it was supposed to be a better sweetener than sugar. Glad I came across this. Wait. Isn't it still better than sugar with at least some benefits?
why do people come make threads asking questions that the ****ing label on the package can answer?

Bull ****. I eat a tbsp every morning with my french toast, in addition to whatever amount of fructose is in orange juice.

Depending on your pre wo meal and/or other meals leading up to your workout, plus the intensity of your workout imo there's nothing wrong with fructose pwo, liver glycogen needs to be replenished as well. This line of thought includes thinking that a large insulin spike is not nessessary, which I agree with. And the less empty cals consumed the better imo.

ya i was thinking the same thing. i also add a whole banana to my PWO shake to help replenish liver glycogen...guess i'll leave honey out for now.
Watch the fructose... you only have one liver
It's been shown to replenish glycogen pretty well. If you want it PWO, use it.

"less empty cals consumed the better imo" - I agree. If you want the fructose, have a banana

Another thing. This may be true for some but some people have a hard time gaining weight so in their case it would be good. Everybody's body and goals are different.
