Lol sorry.
He doesn't think any of his R-Day lifts effect his recovery. Hence he was doing a ton of heavy weight pullups, weighted hypers, and other sh!t.

Didn't last week, and I only did like 5 more reps this week. Hammies feel 100% today.

Weird that her link worked and your copy of it didn't. It was a great article. Definitely explains the mechanics of why we want to arch. I've been watching more and more Dave Tate videos on benching and I'm surprised at how little I know, and how much I'm learning. Can't wait for I-day, not sure if I want to do it on Thursday or Friday, and if I want to test max squat or just do 365x5. I'm thinking it's been a while since I've done a single, so why not?

You've made some nice progress may as well sneak 1 rep PR in there since every thing is going well. You have to take it while its there.
*facepalm*

I agree, 6 weeks of squat progress? Why not reward myself by seeing if I can increase my total a bit.

Like you never try to see what you can do?

I agree as I just did PR my squat and DL this morning. It wasn't on my spreadsheet but I was feeling it. As long as it's not a every session thing I think it's ok.

Thanks, I agree with you agreeing with me.
Week 13
Intensity/PR Day
Squat
45 2x5
135 x 5
225 x 3
285 x 2
325 x 1
375 x 1 (+5 PR)
395 x 1 (+25 PR)
405 x 1 (+35 PR)
415 x 0
Probably could have gotten 415, but I didn't control the descent as much and ended up falling forward just the tiniest bit in the whole, tried to grind it out but I was out of the groove so my BB buddy Colby buddy squatted with me. I feel slightly violated.
Bench
45 2x5
125 2x5
175 2x3
225 x 2
225 x 1
256 x 0
256 x 1 (+5 PR)
260 x 1 (+9 PR)
265 x 0
Probably could have gotten 265 if I tried it again, but some ******* was rushing me. ******* actually walked up to my bar and started to unload it while I was sitting 2 feet away, between attempts. All of my **** was under it, and logbook was sitting on it, I was like, "uhm, excuse me, I'm in the middle of my workout here." Missed 265 and let him have the bench, asshat does 1 set of 85xWhocares and walks away, never to be seen again. Didn't even deload his bar.
Deadlift
315 x 2 (DOH PR)
375 x 3
Round back of peace, again. FML

New total is 1,100. 35 pounds on my squat, 9 pounds on my bench, 44lbs on my total in 6.5 weeks. Dat dere TM.
Plz no negs, videos will be up once I can figure out how to rip them from my new phone. I need to edit them so you guys don't see me set up 18 times in 15 different videos.
edit: added info about 415 attempt
edit: OP delivered.
Nice squats! Wrapped or no ?

Wraps? wtf are those? I don't even.

Lol just asking :)
Lol just asking :)
I've been thinking about them, but my knees have always been solid, so I don't see a need to start wrapping them and making them dependent. Ya know?

Wraps can added 50lb+ to your squat so I'm told. I only use on my HEAVY singles.

If I start competing I might practice with them pre-meet, but until then, I'm all natural (fixing my boobs and flicking my hair over my shoulder.)

Check on the fed you want to compete in. I'm a raw guy myself but prefer to squats with wraps :)
Wow, great work, lots of PR's!
Thank ya. Hard work, good (fat) diet, and at least attempting to get good sleep are really paying off.

PR's for days. Thanks L, I saw in your log about your bench press. Are you finding you need more volume? or more weight?
edit: I looked at 415 again, it looks like I didn't set my chest up as well, so of course the weight would have been a bit forward. Guess that's why I sat way back after I failed.
