Ohtani looked fantastic on the mound today.
Nationals are the softest team in baseball. Literally every time they face any semblance of competition against a team they should beat, they lose.
Bryce Harper is counting down the days.
The Angels are very cute with their 2 little hitters guess what I got at least 5 hittas in my lineup (drunk)
Cozart, Trout, Justin Upton, Pujols, Calhoun (1-5 right there) Ohtani is hitting 8th for the time being, but once that changes.... OOOH-wee
try again

Aging starting pitchers, overrated position players (for the most part), and absolutely no bullpen.
Yeah good luck.
You've only ended up in first in the NL East for as long as you have because 60% of the East has been rebuilding all these years. And the other 20% (Mets) kept getting their pitchers injured.
Now you have talent for the Phillies and Braves popping up and a healthy Mets team. Reality check coming in hard and fast for Nationals fans. There's a reason you keep getting bounced first round every year. You aren't that good. This is similar to when the Braves were winning between 2002-2005 but got bounced easily in the playoffs. We weren't a good team, just taking advantage of no one else wanting it. Nats have been coasting on no one wanting it a few years now but that time is over.
Post will probably be ignored due to being in denial, but take it from someone who's been there back in the early to mid 00's.

Giants fan in DC with a GF as a Nats fan and you are right, so far. We are only at game 9 though and not yet at mid season form, so there is a ton of baseball left before we draw any type of real conclusions. Hell, the Giants are playing better than they did in Arizona, in March, so it is really early.
cliffs: Op is right so far for a 9 game season.
Mike Matheny is the worst non-Philly manager in baseball. I think he's fired before the season is over. That inning by Holland was unforgivable.
Cardinals have some talent this year, I'm happy to see it being wasted like this.
9-2

Cardinals sign Greg Holland as closer. Manager uses closer as closer. Closer blows it. Managers fault for using closer.
so sorry about your autism.

Closer has 2 A ball appearances all year, no spring training. Closer can't throw strikes and walks first two batters he faces. Bunt moves the runners to second and third. Manager intentionally walks next batter, bases loaded. Closer walks 4th batter, forcing winning run. Closer gets removed from game.
You're right, awesome job by Matheny there.

Meh
We won at our place you won at yours. Until next time when you'll still be beneath us overall.
It's too easy for Ohtani, supposedly the book on him was to pound him with fastballs, just took an up and in fastball for rbi single.
Yanks-Sox rivalry is bake

The point is that no one is in mid season form yet... so it is a pointless endeavor to keep this up.
Red Sox players when someone slides and god forbid touches them......

Man, I really thought Mcgwire was going to start fighting yesterday.

when soft infielders get brushed....and their pride bones get hurt I guess.......
Getting popcorn ready in about an hour for Yanks/Red Sox brawl sequel. I wonder who gets pelted by a 91MPH fast ball today?
