How do people play military and war games that aren't realistic?
WW2 isn't 32 vs 32 multiplayer matches. There's no ninja sneaking during an active battle. A lot of them have weapon loadouts that aren't accurate either. Statistically, your ass as an infantry would get owned by artillery and such.
Total War has maximum 2,000 unit battles when the battles they represent in real life had 10,000 to 100,000 combatants. So this arguably leads to flanking being overpowered since you get way more maneuver room than real life Generals had.
Warband: the AI just charges senselessly into each other like morons. Bannerlord improved on this I guess.
