3 weeks to a beach body
Hi
I go on holiday in 3 weeks and am hoping to get as ripped as possible in that time. Have left it late as have exams at the moment but can hit the gym everyday from tomorrow now.
Planning on a low carb diet - Cutting out all fizzy drinks and microbing meals - Also taking 3 scoops of syntha 6 in between meals
Workout - Planning to lift 3 times a week and cardio 4-5 times (High intensity)
I'm currently about 15% bodyfat and would like to get it as low as possible. Realistically I don't think I will get a visable 6 pack in this time but I can dream.
I have been reading the threads and hopefully will get as lean as possible.
Am I being unrealistic in thinking I could get down 2-3% bodyfat?
Thanks

Is this a joke? I think you are right, you are dreaming :) Things take time bro, shedding fat is slower as you get leaner. You're just going to hurt yourself.

I'm not expecting to look like Rambo or anything just want to know if you can shift a bit of a belly in 3 weeks
-
HIIT 4-5 times a week?
Sure.
-
Maybe you can lose 3-4 lbs, don't expect to see anything noticeable.

Damn I read that wrong. You wanted to drop 2%, my bad. Yeah just follow the sticky, eat at a deficit, get your protein, you'll drop a few lbs.

3/4 seems a little low i think i could easily shift 10 in 3 weeks just don't know how much of it would be fat

Whats wrong with HIIT 4-5 times a week? Only short 20 minute blasts on the running machine or bike

annnnnd there we go with the 'i don't care if i lose a little bit of muscle' mentality. 3-6 lbs if you're at 15% now. will you look better? yes. will you lose some gut? yes. will you look like a rockstar in that time frame? probably not. and why syntha 6, 3 scoops between every meal? just have a balanced diet high in protein and eat at a deficit while weight training-that's all you need. and high intensity cardio 4-5 times a week? have fun with the brotastic diet and routine if you like, or do a realistic cutting diet and have realistic goals man.

after the first week you'll see how it hampers your recovery, especially when cutting.

Ah right will try it twice a week with regular cardio twice a week as well

Didn't mean 3 scoops between each meal meant 3 a day. Also thanks for the actual tips given amongst your post or sarcastic digs. Was wondering if it was possible. My actual goal is to get to around 9% body fat but I know this will take months just wanted to shift some fat.

If you wanted a beach body for summer, you should have started 4-5 months ago.
-
i started on my beach body about 2 years and some months ago LMAO. maybe in 5 summers i will have the ultimate beach body ;)
-
I swear... this is the mindset of 99% of my age.
1 week before summer: "I'm working out so I'll be ripped for the beach"
You should have started earlier... ;-;

Depending on what you're starting with, getting lean for the beach is going to take anywhere from several weeks to several months (or a year or more). Getting that "beach body" that everybody imagines, on the other hand, takes years of training.

If you can do HIIT 4-5 times a week while incorporating resistance training, you aren't going hard enough.

I seriously doubt you are going to make any serious gains (losses) in 3 weeks. If it were important to you, you'd have started 3 months out.
