He has now unfollowed Washington
Apparently, Dak got a 2nd surgery on his ankle. I'm sure Jerry is using this as a bargaining chip.
Curious on the Cowboy fans thoughts on McCarthy.. obviously tough year with Dak, but do you like what you saw scheme wise? I am interested in another opinion as I have my own thoughts of MM from my years as a Pack fan
Not seeing that anywhere

Me either....and it would be posted everywhere
It was on Twitter briefly and taken down, must have been false info posted.

I'm willing to give him another year. All things considered (no off season, Dak hurt, offensive line in shambles, rotating QBs) The team did improve as the year went on, and there isn't exactly any hot head coaches out there now.
^this...so many factors against him (and every other team tbh)...Next year we should get a better look at what he's all about

Not big on retread hires myself, but it’s pretty impossible to judge him off last season. At least it wasn’t Jason garrett
I would love to see Dallas sign JJ Watt. I know he is past his prime, but he instantly better than what we have and he's the type of leader to hold the team accountable and give some real motivation.
We have not had a true leader on defense in a very long time.

Agree but Stephen isn’t spending any money. He’s more worried about the cap
I see what ya mean about JJ signing...but I feel it'd be a waste of $$ right now...unless they dumped a few people.
I'm comfortable rolling with DLaw, Aldon Smith, Randy
That said I don't think JJ would sign here anyway...looking like Bills/Browns are the top contenders
whoa
Welp time to find a new team.....
Jerry really is retarded.
im pro dak but 42m/year?
what the fuk

Dak Prescott’s salary-cap number for this season will be $22.2 million instead of the $37.7 million that would have come along with the franchise tag - a savings of $15.5 million against this season’s cap.
big mistake
That's a lotta guaranteed for a post surgery toy with ceedeez nutz to throw to.

42x3= 126 million over the first 3 years
126 - 22 mil for this year
104 /2 remaining years = 52 million per year
Maybe it won’t count against the cap exactly that way, but I was doing the avg if we backed out the first year against the cap
Peyton Manning made 17.5 mil/ year at Denver. Brady made 25? For his Superbowl this year

I wish I understood the cap more, I just get confused
Ayy lmao

Same...What I'm seeing is 75mil for year 1
How does the 66 mil signing bonus not go against the cap?
How does the 66 mil signing bonus not go against the cap?
It does. It's just that it's over the length of his contract, so he gets a $13.2M bonus at the start of every league year.
A good website for NFL cap info is www.overthecap.com
Saw a link Dak signed a 4 yr/180 million dollar contract, 45/yr
This ended up being sorta close, lol

You damn near had it lol. Have we cut 54 yet?
I wish I understood the cap more, I just get confused
It's witchcraft. I just stick to player eval lol.
How tf they got his cap hit to 22mill this year is beyond my depths.

Not sure why they like to backload contracts
Speaking of, historically, you’ve been a huge critic of backloaded large contracts given to qbs of the cowboys
