Is Trump's team trying to lose quickly and on purpose to elevate their case to the SC as quickly as possible and to hold as many cards from view as they can?
What I'm saying is that's an actual legit strategy right?

Trump's attorneys do not expect to win in the lower courts, but in appellate courts and SCOTUS.

No... well maybe.
In most case, at SCOTUS you cannot add in new evidence, they discuss the merits of the case and whether the lower courts rulings were correct.
Giuliani will be bound by what he can get entered into the lower courts, which so far has been nothing. SCOTUS could rule that his cases were improperly dismissed, kick it back to lower court to litigate properly.
Think of how death row inmates appeal to SCOTUS.
Sometimes when it's a National emergency, the argument can go right to SCOTUS but that's not what is happening. On such a short timeframe maybe they would because it's a Presidential election.
That is my understanding.

You can't win any court case without evidence, and you can't submit new evidence at SCOTUS. Anyone who believes that doesn't understand how the appeals court system in the US works. The appeals courts and SCOTUS review the ruling of the lower court based on the motions and evidence presented at the lower court. The appeal process is basically asking a higher court to review the same evidence and find a different ruling because the lower court judge made a mistake of some sort. It's not a place to present a new case with new "blockbuster" evidence.

I was reading that some random County in PA (Berks County) won't certify their results until Wednesday.
I am not sure how it all plays in.

Pennsylvania
Biden is currently leading in the Keystone State by more than 81,000 votes as most of the state's 67 counties -- except for Philadelphia and Berks, which includes Reading -- are expected to have meetings on Monday to certify their election results. Philadelphia is expected to meet Monday or Tuesday depending on a pending lawsuit filed in state court attempting to delay certification. The lawsuit could stall the state's overall certification process. Meanwhile, Berks County does not intend to certify until Wednesday, according to the Washington Post.

This comes as a federal judge on Saturday fully rejected the Trump campaign's bid to block election results via court order, calling their legal reasoning "Frankenstein's monster" and their attempt to throw out millions of votes a violation of the Constitution.
Following the decision, Republican Sen. Pat Toomey, who's not running for reelection in 2022, congratulated Biden on his presidential victory.
"With today's decision by Judge Matthew Brann, a longtime conservative Republican whom I know to be a fair and unbiased jurist, to dismiss the Trump campaign's lawsuit, President Trump has exhausted all plausible legal options to challenge the result of the presidential race in Pennsylvania," Toomey said in a statement.
He pointed to Georgia's Friday certification of Biden's win and what he said was Michigan lawmakers' rejection of "the apparent attempt by President Trump to thwart the will of Michigan voters..." in his statement.
"These developments, together with the outcomes in the rest of the nation, confirm that Joe Biden won the 2020 election and will become the 46th President of the United States," he added.
Several prominent state and nationally elected Republicans had defended the Trump campaign's attempt in court.
The state Senate's Republican caucus spoke up a week after Election Day, saying the handling of some absentee ballots that infringed on voters' secrecy should invalidate the entire absentee vote in Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Senate Republicans said they believed the handling of absentee ballots was a "disaster," an assertion state officials and election security officials have roundly rejected.
And on Saturday afternoon -- hours before Brann denied the Trump campaign's case to disenfranchise millions of voters because of unfounded theories of fraud and two voters casting deficient ballots -- Republican candidates in Pennsylvania and US Rep. Mike Kelly, who represents parts of northwestern Pennsylvania, filed a lawsuit and separately filed a brief in the Trump campaign case attacking management of the election and the security of ballots that were being processed.
Meanwhile, there have been discussions with Trump about inviting Republican state legislators to the White House, two sources told CNN on Friday. However, Jason Gottesman, a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania House GOP caucus, told CNN that no invitation has been extended.
The GOP-led state legislature has stated numerous times that they have no role in the selection of presidential electors and that the electors will go to the winner of the state's popular vote.
"The law states that when the secretary of state certifies the election, the governor appoints the electors. That's the law. And we will follow the law," said Senate Majority Leader Jake Corman in an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer on November 19.
Pennsylvania is not expected to conduct a recount as the margin between the presidential candidates is greater than 0.5%, the threshold for avoiding automatically triggering the process. Unlike in Georgia, candidates in Pennsylvania can't request a recount but voters can on their behalf. The request must be submitted within five days of the election. Currently there are no recount petitions pending in the state.

Trump axed campaign lawyer Sidney Powell was because 'she was too conspiratorial even for him'
When President Donald Trump on November 15 announced the legal team leading his campaign to overturn the result of the presidential election, among them Dallas attorney Sidney Powell, he described them as a "truly great team."
But only a week later, the Trump campaign abruptly distanced itself from Powell. The attorney's outlandish conspiracy theories became too much even for a president whose political identity is founded on stirring suspicion of "deep state" elites.
Comments to the Newsmax organization only two days after Thursday's press conference attracted criticism even from the president's allies.
In the interview, Powell claimed that top Republican officials in Georgia, including Governor Brian Kemp, were part of the plot to fix the election. "Georgia's probably going to be the first state I'm going to blow up and Mr Kemp and the secretary of state need to go with it," she said, adding that her lawsuit would be "biblical" in its scale.
Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a longtime Trump advisor, was scathing about the Trump campaign's faltering legal effort to overturn the election in an interview with ABC News Sunday, describing the president's legal team as a "national embarrassment." He singled out Powell's claims about Georgia GOP officials for criticism, describing her conduct as "outrageous."

The president was not pleased by the loss in the PA suit, per people familiar with what took place. Powell was easiest to vote off the island, especially as the president was getting complaints about her from a number of people.
“She was too conspiratorial even for him,” said one Trump adviser. Other advisers note there’s little daylight between what Giuliani and Powell have been serving up.

It should be interesting because 2D 2R and one of the R (Norman Shinkle) already said he would vote against certification.
Apparently the Governor Gretchen Wilson can remove him if she wants.
Also the MI Secretary of State is good looking, Jocelyn Benson.

https://apnews.com/article/trump-campaign-distances-sidney-powell-c74165d465cf28b5478a65bd267fde29
Powell made headlines with her statements at a Thursday news conference where, joined by Giuliani and Ellis, she incorrectly suggested that a server hosting evidence of voting irregularities was located in Germany, that voting software used by Georgia and other states was created at the direction of late Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and that votes for Trump had probably been switched in favor of President-elect Joe Biden.
In a subsequent interview with Newsmax, she appeared to accuse Georgia’s Republican governor, Brian Kemp, and its Republican secretary of state of being part of a conspiracy involving a voting-system contract award that she contends harmed Trump’s reelection bid.
“Georgia’s probably going to be the first state I’m going to blow up and Mr. Kemp and the secretary of state need to go with it,” she said, later adding that a court filing she hoped to submit this week involving the state would be “biblical.”
The status of that lawsuit was unclear Sunday night.
Chris Krebs, who was recently fired by Trump as director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, tweeted Sunday night that “any claims of vote count manipulation” in Georgia “were nonsense from day 1” since the systems in the state had paper records that were validated in the recount.
