Is that a PR for him? That’s 32 pounds more than last time...and it looked like he could do more. Also, in the tank top, you can see Ernest is still supporting some good mass for an 80 year old. Hope he stays strong and healthy for another 20 years.

I will let Ernest know you liked his lift, this is the most he has lifted in a few years, his PB when he was 76 - 77 was 225kg he lifted this on a couple of occasions and his comp best was 220kg allow he did lift 225kg at a comp once but got a no lift allow he did lock it out, he is doing a comp in 3 weeks again. Ernest carries a lot of muscle and is always in and around 220lbs, he is strong on almost every exercise in the gym as well.
