Solid interview, it really is true how important diet is in seeing results and I have recently really realized that and have begun keeping track of everything I eat and my daily macros...

Thanks, nutrition is crucial when trying to reach those goals. Awesome man, glad to hear, it will help out tons.. plus it's also teaches you so much about food, keeping track of everything, pretty soon you'll be able to list out macros from memory.

Hit arms and abs last night for about an hour and ten minutes, 3 movements for triceps, 3 movements for biceps and 3 movements for abs. It was Monday, so the gym was packed and it seemed as if everyone was hitting either chest or arms. Had to wait for awhile on a few stations but it wasn’t too bad. I’m not a fan of working in, I’d rather move on to another movement but these guys only had a couple sets left so it was cool. I had dinner before training since I hit a late night session and didn’t want to wait to eat until 11:00pm, plus I find that during the week it’s better to hit it late night the early evening as you will never find a station if you get there before 8:00pm. On the weekends I hit it around 10:00-10:30pm and get out of there around 12:00am, it’s perfect, they gym is empty.. just me, my music and the weights. I love it. Anyway, here is yesterday’s diet and training routine.
Diet:
7:30am – 6 eggs (2 whole, 4 white), ¾ cup of oatmeal with a tablespoon of natural pb and 2 Stevia packets, 1 whey protein shake in 16oz’s of water.
10:00am – A handful of cashews and a banana.
12:00pm – 2 6oz grilled chicken breasts and 1\2 an avocado with a cup of black beans and water.
3:00pm – 8oz’s of steak with a quarter cup of brown rice.
6:00pm – ½ a cup of oatmeal in water with 2 Stevia’s and a whey protein shake.
8:00pm - 2 6oz grilled chicken breasts with a half cup of brown rice and water.
9:00pm – 2 scoops of Controlled Labs White Flood in 8oz’s of water, 5 Green Bulge capsules, 2 CLAmore capsules and 1 scoop of Purple Wraath in 20oz’s of water (intra-workout).
9:30pm-10:40pm – Arms and abs.
11:00pm – 1.5 scoops of Gold Feast in 16oz’s of water.
12:00am – Bed.

My favorite days to go are definitely Friday and Sunday though because the gym is empty, thats when I can realllly get shyt done.
Nick, would you say that 300g of protein a day is the pretty normal for you?
Hit delts\traps and abs last night. duration was about an hour and a half.. haven't hit that 48-72hr mark yet and can already feel it, it was a solid one. Blasted that 80's metal and got right down to it. I pushed myself to go heavier than usual last night, around 5-10lbs extra with the db's and 20lbs with the machines, nothing too insane but enough to make those last 2-3 reps real hard to put up. Isn't pushing yourself what this is all about? You have to push yourself in order to grow, it's those last few reps that really work that muscle. It's a rest day for me today, so I am kind of looking forward to it.. honestly though, I'd rather be in the gym but yes, rest is crucial as it is when you are recovering that muscles grow. You can now catch me on Instagram if any of you have that, I've been posting pics daily of everything from training\posing to my dogs and just everyday life, so feel free to hit me up. Below is my diet and traiing routine for yesterday.

I completely understand man, sometimes I don't have a choice and have to go around rush hour but I do prefer hitting late night sessions, even if I'm exhausted.. for myself dealing with the crowds and waiting for a station to free up can be the worst. Yes, Friday through Sunday are the best, specially in the evenings.. there doesn't seem to be anyone there, it's perfect.
Nick, would you say that 300g of protein a day is the pretty normal for you?
I do take in quite a bit of protein. Yes, anywhere from 275g's to 300g's.

Had a very solid leg day today. It was actually my first leg day since I've been back in the gym and I was so relieved that the strength in them hadn't gone. I did need to lower the weight on the leg press a bit, but not too much. I really thought i might have lost a little strength, but all in all it felt great to hit them pretty hard.
Tomorrow is Biceps and abs, and I can't wait!
Nick
I dont know if I am doing it wrong or what...but I can leg press(incline) 5 sets at 12 reps 300 lbs, going all the way, good form. :P cause I highly doubt I can do more than you. Any thoughts?

Well, you're a giant for 17 years old! Jesus man and you're still not done growing. You've got major strength, so keep at it!
Do your bodyparts fall on the same days or does it vary from week to week?
It varie's from week to week as of right now I am hitting 2 days on 1 day off and so forth. I kind of like how a certain routine doesn't fall on the same day.
What's up everyone,
Back to posting on the daily here, I will be posting some updated pics here within the next couple hours. For those of you who are interested, I have a brand new interview up here: http://www.fitoverfat.com/nick-paniagua-interview/
Hope you all are doing well! I will be posting up my current diet and training routine as often as I possibly can as well, along with answering your questions etc.

You really can't beat an empty gym man, I can't stand an overcrowded gym. As much as I love to workout, I want to get in there and take care of business and then get as much sleep as I possibly can.

Thanks man! Life's been busy but great. I've been training hard and keeping busy with the clothing line (Sacrifice & Honor). As far as personal goals go right now, I'm playing the gain game while still trying to keep as tight as possible, it's been a challenge but I'm slowly gaining little by little and still keeping it natural, which will never change. Thanks for the welcome man, looking forward to posting up in here on the regular!

What’s up everyone,
So last night I hit back and I gotta say, it feels really great to be able to deadlift again. I had a lower back injury a couple years back that really limited certain movements, one of them being a big one and that was deadlifting. I’m a few months in as far as really starting to hit them on a regular basis and I got to say, it’s helped a ton with my strength and a lot of that minor pain that I would have in the past every so often has disappeared. I’m very thankful that I’m back to feeling 110%. So here’s my back routine from last night’s session..
Wide Grip Pullups (Warm Up Movement) – 4 sets of 12 reps.
Deadlifts – 1 set of 15 reps at 90lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 180lbs, 1 set of 6 reps at 270lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 180lbs, last set till failure at 90lbs.
Close Grip Seated Rows - 1 set of 15 reps at 170lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 185lbs, 1 set of 6 reps at 200lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 185lbs, last set till failure at 170lbs.
Hammer Strength Iso-Rows (1 Arm At A Time) - 1 set of 15 reps at 90lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 115lbs, 1 set of 6 reps at 135lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 115lbs, last set till failure at 90lbs.
Wide Grip Lat Pulldowns - 1 set of 15 reps at 150lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 170lbs, 1 set of 6 reps at 190lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 170lbs, last set till failure at 150lbs.
Wide Grip Standing lat Pulldowns - 1 set of 15 reps at 50lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 60lbs, 1 set of 6 reps at 70lbs, 1 set of 10 reps at 60lbs, last set till failure at 50lbs.
It’s a fairly high volume routine, I’m in there for around an hour and twenty minutes, taking around a 30 sec rest period in between sets. I’ll be sticking with this routine for the next 6 weeks or so and then switching it up.
Hope everyone is doing well,
Nick
