Most exciting gf I think I've ever seen. It had everything.
Can't help but be stoked for JT.
Agreed. Has to be one of the best. Incredible defensive effort from Brisbane. Try in the corner at 80. JT so close to sealing it with the conversion. Going into OT. As close as it gets.
Was a good game, was hoping that brisbane would get over, but hey QLD won so its all good.
Hope it's high scoring. Put 2k on the over @37.5. Feeling a little bit nervous about it now.
sorry about your losses.
fuarkkkk game of peace
Lmao that cheeky kunt Thurston
I can see Australia are really embracing their new pm.
Poor old Ben Hunt is gonna have nightmares about that game for the rest of his life. First the penalty, then the knock on.

He is not going to have a good time thats for sure.
Wish more of my mates here watched NRL no one talking about it.
Amazing game.
Feel so happy for JT but feels overload for Hunt.
So tense.
Thurston the GOAT, king in the north.
Ben hunt, poor guy, witness protection and sucide watch as soon as possible.
Damn Ben Hannat has as may kids as he did hit ups
Feel terrible for the Broncs now
I'm a big JT fan but him getting the Clive Churchill medal is a massive stitch up... there were at least 3-4 better players on the field out there tonight
I'm a big JT fan but him getting the Clive Churchill medal is a massive stitch up... there were at least 3-4 better players on the field out there tonight
no there weren't.
JT controlled the 2nd half. Defused multiple bombs and made the decision not to kick in the final minute.
lets be serious here milford was best on ground churchill medal was given politically

Just watched the game again and if you look in the background you will notice that JT was walking a lot; He never walks. It's obvious that he is carrying a lot of pain. Yeah he certainly carried the team at the end.
Watched a lot of GFs but that is certainly the best one. Will certainly be buying that one to add to my selection.
What a bloody game aye fellas!
Feels for Hunt
What a bloody game aye fellas!
Feels for Hunt
i put that drop down to the dangerous tackle he made earlier.
Just completely ruined his concentration.
Milford was by far the best player on the field tonight, he should have been awarded the Clive Churchill Medal.
Pretty hard way to lose a grand final, hopefully a lesson learnt by Hunt, he really needs to improve his kicking game, that's what really hurt the Broncos tonight. Just had no field position, no repeat sets and played most of the game at their end of the field.
Great game 1000 x better than afl gf.
Feelsgoodman for Thurston.
And MVP for nql was hunt
LOL strong. Never watched Rugby before but turned the TV on JUST before Thurston was prepping for his field goal.
Edit. Sickening end, but someone plz tell me why he was allowed to randomly kick the goal.
You're allowed to perform a drop kick at any point of the game, and it awards you 1 point if you get it between (and over) the posts.
While you can do it at any point of the game, you don't see them very often because they only award 1 point compared to a potential 6 points for a converted try. You'll really only see them in during golden point (after the full 80 minutes) or when the teams are tied and the game is drawing to a close.
the medal goes to not only the best player, but the fairest.
Milford is like a jr Hodges, always milking penalties. He also started that push and shove when Boyd got "hit".
He never deserved that medal.
Holy **** what a finish. JT confirmed clutch
Wayne with the sour grapes http://www.couriermail.com.au/sport/nrl/nrl-grand-final-2015-wayne-bennett-hits-out-at-golden-point-system-after-broncos-loss/story-fniabm4i-1227556890859
Loling at how far Ben Hunt has fallen in all the supporters opinion. And no Milford was not the best player just lol.
such a flawed argument. Talking about a replayed game? Jesus Christ the game was in Sydney filled with travelling Queenslanders. Only has himself to blame for such a negative game plan in the 2nd half.

he almost lost it for them. just constantly building every set to attack left because the only thing the 'next immortal' knows how to do is throw the short ball to Cooper. It has been his only play for the last decade. Anybody with half a brain would build it to attack Reed and Milford on the other side but he just kept hogging it to his side and kept producing nothing over and over again. Took until the 80th minute for them to finally do it.

Yeah I get why he doesn't like Golden Point and it could be amended to Golden Try or Extra time or whatever but there are very good reasons as to why we need to have a conclusive final in the modern era. Replays might have worked back when A grade was still park football but not anymore. Wonder who he's expecting to foot the bill for all the out of towners. Or if he wanted it played in QLD the question is where would they hold it because no stadium up here holds 80k+ or even comes close to it.

If not for Kane Linnett being unable to catch a cold JTs hogging it on the right netted the Cowboys 2 tries
I think golden try would be better and if they still don't get a result then go to golden point to decide it. That final deserved it.

Confirmed for derp.
Boyd has been defending in the line all year.
The Hunt spear tackle was worse than the knock on.
Boyd hould have been in the line somewhere. It should have been rake rake rake, toe punt, toe punt, for the last 90 seconds for Broncos Defence.
