I saw this video as well and have will give it a shot today. Is it pretty much just a bull down grip? Are you internally rotating the wrist that then in turn internally rotate the elbows?
Yeah basically putting yourself into an internally rotated position when you take your grip, and then trying to actively externally rotate from that position.

Externally rotate on the concentric I'm assuming?
Externally rotate on the concentric I'm assuming?
I keep that tension through the entire lift, or maybe until lockout. Putting yourself into an internally rotated position will flare your elbows more, so you need to create the torque to keep your elbows from flaring to early.

When I watched the vid I didn't seem much internal or external rotation but maybe it's just ever to slight you can't see it on film.
-
didn't watch the vid but watched one a few years ago by Mike T that I ended up using. Sounds the same. I like puting as much tension on everything I can for all the lifts. I setup with middle on ring but by the time the grip is set and under tension my index is on rings.

i found out that michael eaton lifts at my gym. he did 805x4 raw deadlift on video. hes prepping for a meet next weekend. this is so awesome.

For some reason I can't quote anybody right now.
Anthony,
Honestly I'd say read, read, read and make your own program. Learning what works for you and what you enjoy is amazing. I followed programs and tried to destroy the lift I love (deadlift) and basically was always broken and hated 2/3s of my workouts. Now that I have read soooooooo much and understand how to program, and also know what's good for me I love it.
For example, instead of squatting and deadlifting 2 times a week every week like some programs have you do, I front squat 2 times a month maybe, and pull 1 time. I feel great, I've put on a lot of size (avatar is not current), and from the few sets I have done I can PR whenever I want. I now can program progression and keep volume where it needs to be etc. hopefully this makes since, I've been doing yard work and about 10 beers deep.
North,
Super excited to see 242 dan, way more excited for 275 dan.

I've always had a tendency to pull my elbows in too tight at the bottom during heavy attempts. This grip keeps my elbows out far enough so that when I do create that tension, it pulls my elbows in just enough without reducing my mechanical advantage. And everything overall just feels more secure. Time will tell though.

If 275 Dan becomes a reality I will be very happy..
Also, a new WR by a fellow New Brunswicker in the PL world.
Eva Dunbar just smashed a bunch of fookin weight. Suuper clean squat also.
"
Eva Laura Belle Dunbar today at the “No Retreat No Surrender” RPS meet in Cherokee, NC became the new Strongest woman across all classes in Women’s Powerlifting history.... 637.95 Wilks at 147.6 body weight.
Eva went 8 for 9 on the day, totaling 1370. This is the world record squat she buried!
536.8 (new ATWR)
315.25 (new ATWR)
518.
**1370 total (ATWR)**"
Wilks of the gods lmao. Had the pleasure of meeting her a couple years back, very good lifter and nice person. Crazy work ethic.

almost a 640 wilks? godess of strength

IF You guys we're going to pick up a fixed flat bench for a home gym, that was cheapish and would support a 220 benching 350-400 what you you pick up?
Looking at the Titan bench but really kinda want to pick up something a little cheaper right now, just don't want to die.

I got the Titan flat bench. I weigh 295 in the buff, had my single ply gear on and have been doing sets and reps in the 5’s with no issues.
In b4 Jason kills me.

I got this one, no complaints. Really like it actually.

Bolt together version saves a lot of money.
That sight is Canadian dollars and stuff also.

This is the flat bench I would get
https://www.repfitness.com/strength-equipment/strength-training/benches/rep-fb-5000-competition-flat-bench
I personally would not trust Titan fitness for anything that will support weight safely over my head or myself. Their quality is to much hit and miss.

Asking for a friend, the fury and f6 are good entry level shirts, right?
Speaking of coaches/coaching....
What would you guys say is a good point to get a coach? I seem to have an internal battle with myself with wanting to get with a coach (also maybe wanting the most "cutting edge" programming) vs just running the program that I'm currently running that's free. I'm hesistant to work with a coach due to the fact that my numbers I feel aren't worthy of a coach at this time.
I'm not one to be the brightest bulb when it comes to programming, what to program, when to, etc, etc.
Programming is like 5% of the battle but people like to make it into 80%.
Consistency is the 80%. Everything works. Train, eat, sleep etc. Read alot, learn alot.

F6 is pretty good. Have never worn fury but hear its basically the 'flat back' version of the F6

No. The more money you spend on coaching the more you total its basic linear math.

Well I’ll have to start skipping them then.
Been having some great sessions so far. 2018 has been good to all the power fam it seems.

What Jason said. F6 is the best single ply shirt IMO, for the big archers.
If any of you need a program, run Sheiko... Best universal program ever made, and all you have to do is plug your maxs (-5 or 10lbs) into a spread sheet.
