Down to 270 now. That’s 16 pounds down since the start of this cut and 50 lbs from my heaviest bulk.
I’m training shoulders and arms today. I’m planning to run twice a day for the next three days ….maybe. Depends on how I feel.
1 hour weights, 40 min run in the hills

I really like the way running is changing my calves. Had some pretty sore legs all day…
270 this am, no weights today and may just rest. I do have a chance to run maybe in a new place…I like the change of scenery when running.
45 min run this am. Did well avoiding a very curious Fox.
47 minute run today with two decent effort 100s run at the end.
Chest and back Tonight…went very well. 12 sets each. All reps 6-10.
Having a problem with water weight/retention after eating a lot of very high sodium foods this weekend. Adult beverages don’t help there either. Pounding water to flush it out…
Today is leg day. It was good to rest my legs yesterday after a couple of hard runs over the weekend.

37 min to complete my neighborhood run today. That’s a huge improvement.
I’ve run something like 21/24 last days and the rest day’s definitely pay off. Performance is really improving but weight loss is a struggle as I am definitely not wanting to eat even less.
Three laps at the park today in 36 min. No walking on the course and that’s a first for my park runs which have a few long hills.*getting better!* felt like I had another lap in me but wife and daughter wanted to be done…
As June closes out, I ate great today.

My daughter says I look more toned, especially legs and calves. My son says “thinner.”
I feel like a smaller version of the same build…just how it always goes.
Trained chest and back today.
All of my bench sets were with 255 for 6-8 reps per set. All inclines at 205 for 6-8 reps per set. All my pulls were comparable to any other time in training…so honestly not bad.
After my lift I had a 1 hour run at the track.

My joints feel better lately staying at 5 reps and above just as I had for decades.
After my shoulder and arm’s training I ran at the school for forty min.
Had ham, steak and chicken that was marinated in soy sauce and being salt sensitive…weight ballooned up to 277 this am.
The scale is practically useless for me after a salty meal or two.
I’d really hoped to be in the mid 260s by now but have really stalled out with my vacation even tough I’m doing a great job counting cals and running/lifting. The cals in /cals out math is making no sense at all…going to have to make more changes.

Today is shoulders and arms training. I have some difficulty focusing on lifting due to eagerness to go running. Today I’ll need to mow more of my lawn so that may be all I need to hunker down and focus on my weight training this morning.
Shoulder press- have reduced training weight from 185 down to 165 now.

Wild how the water weight goes wildly up and back down…
