I wouldn't try it... I'm sure Si would kill you with his Volkswagon Death Grip!
I swear that on some episodes he seems like hes more medicated than others, or maybe hes less idk..
Phil is supposed to be coming out with a book sometime soon. I think Id like it from Phils perspective rather than Willies.

Yeah from what I've seen, while I respect Willie as a Businessman, he seems to be a lot more talk than actions when it comes to the wilderness. Where as Phil is pretty much completely the other way around.
I think Si is the picture of the average old person who's not really in control of his meds, from a health point of view.
After my Dad's last surgery they were going through a prescription review and my Dad knew by heart, what he was taking, how much and how often. They said that was pretty rare, and that the majority of elderly folks who don't have some kind of assistance in their care can't do that. The average experience is that they take too much or then skip a day.
So a lot of people, like Si, go on more of a medication roller coaster.

I agree that Phil is the real deal. I used to watch them back when it was just Duck Commander and he is no different now then when he is in the duck blind.

I'd never even heard of them before Duck Dynasty came on TV. With a monstrous heap of luck, I hope to become the Nainoa version of Phil Robertson one day.

Ask them why they never show any duck hunting on the new show.
"Do you even duck hunt?"

^^Willie was saying in an episode that they all played football and I think one of them played in college. Ask them what it's like to be tackled by the beard.
Screw that. I hunted with some Norwegians that had some sort of dried fish, looked like you filleted it and left it out on the dock in the sun all day. That wasn't bad, actually I kinda liked it. I don't think it was Ludafisk (sp?) but it might have been. But pickled... bleh. The Mexicans around here eat pickled pig's feet, they're in the gas stations and such. Not interested in anything pickled really, except maybe a cucumber or okra. I guess pickled veggies are OK in my head, but not meat.
Okra, EFF THAT NASTY ASSED CRAP!! Like swallowing phlegm.
Pffft... If I was Procta, I'd use the 44hunter approach... Scrub yourself down with 7 piece of an 8 piece bucket of KFC, like you were scrubbing yourself down with a bar of Irish Spring... Then wait till sunset and wander out into the surf holding a drumstick at arms length and whistling suggestively.
When the great white lunges out of the water for the chicken just quick step to the side and then hook a finger into it's gill and drag it to shore.
The absolute WORST place to hook a shark is in the gills. If the bastard swims towards you, doesn't tick the drag and dies you're in for a LONG night of hauling in a large dead shark. Been there, done that. A 300 pounder feels like a bloody fukn tonne!
This older guy I knew told me a story about his shark fishing days. They used to use whole chickens from the grocery store. One night he was out drinking, got plastered and struck out at the bar while his buddy had better results. He left alone and decided he would go fishing. At some point late into the night he ended up on the beach, swimming a rigged up whole chicken out over the 3rd sandbar. This was back in the day before kayaks and such, they either used a surf board or just swam it and he didn't have a surf board with him. He had a set of aluminum rod holders mounted to his toolbox mounted to the bed of his truck. After swimming back in he went to tighten the drag on his rod and discovered it missing, and discovered his rod holder bent down and mutilated. He said the force of whatever it was had to be incredible to bend those holders down the way they were mounted on the truck. He also said he never swam a bait out in the dark again. LOL
We had a guy that used to go off the piers in the OBX. He was about 5 cans short of a 6 pack. He'd row out and dump a dozen bloody tuna heads over the side and row back. So one night he and I are there with one other person. He goes over the side and he's gone about 30 mins. All of a sudden I hear screaming and splashing and all sorts of hell being raised. I run out to the truck, pull it onto the beach and launch the jet ski. I get out there and he's wrapped up in his rubber raft. Seems Mr Tiger shark liked the taste of his raft, lol. That was the last time he did that.
As for the dried fish, I have a good one. We use tuna heads for shark bait. I had one in the car that was sorta, kinda on ice for 2 days. I get it out and start rigging it and this Japanese guy comes up and asks if he can have? I said no you can't have my fukn tuna head. He says , no, just want a piece. I said, yea, you can have a piece. He cuts out the gill muscle and eats it, BOTH SIDES. I damn near lost my cookies. it wasn't rotten, but the bacteria had started to tenderize it pretty good.

I wish they did more hunting tbh. I dont think they do Duck Commander anymore so you have to buy thier dvd to see it. I guess they just appeal to the more yuppie audience with DD.

Or for nudes of his ol lady.
I have a friend that could easily pass for Jep. I actually sent him a pic of Jep once and he was creeped out because he didnt remember taking the pic. lol. I told him to sit next to them and start signing autographs.

I think this second season is basically rushed into filming and production after the first, and filmed in the summer when there's nothing open season wise.

Dammit, they upgraded my computer to Windows 7 overnight. DO NOT WANT!

Windows 7 is a huge improvement. You will love it.
Windows 8 is a big difference though - be glad they didn't set you up with that! :D
-
Win 7 is no biggie, especially now that all the bugs are worked out.

Yeah I had vista on my old computer, the desktop I bought for work back in May has windows 7 and it's a lot smoother.
I'm not generally one who does well when they change my "Technology Comfort Zone" but going from Vista to 7 was pretty easy.
-
LOL Vista was an abomination. I skipped hundreds of users, held them back on XP until 7 was stable and went directly to that. As did a lot of corporations. Luckily XP was solid enough to last.
-
So with the baby coming right at the start of my peak season for working outdoors, I've been using the winter time to do as much as I can in advance, like framing out the greenhouse and such. Last night I assembled the gate for the new garden fence. But with a budget of zero dollars I used scrap wood and left over chicken wire.
Ended up building it out of 2x4 and 2x6... I swear the thing could withstand a nuclear blast.
It's like the nuke scene in Battlestar Gallactica, where Baltar simple duck's down behing Tricia Helfers legs and the explosion goes around him, then 45 minutes later we see him running through the field completely fine and healthy. I'm pretty sure the new garden gate would act just like her legs!
;) :D

Oh yeah, on my "Bucket List" right under "Beat all the members of Hanson to Death for writing Mmm-Bop" is "Curb Stomp the guy who invented Windows Vista."
Is it applicable to write "Never go to the Mall again" on my bucket list?
-
so is the gate open or what? :D

Unfortunately, all the programs, including my email aren't working nicely with Windows 7. So first thing this morning I had to call I.T. in freakin Costa Rico, and they still haven't been able to figure it out.

Sounds like they did an in place "upgrade" install. If so those are always buggy, best to just reimage the damn thing.

Oh no... The Gate is closed tight... The problem is that the new fence isn't up!
;)
:D
Sometime this spring, once my wife is back on her feet again, I'm going to pick a Saturday, have the mother in law come down to help babysit for me... Smoke some pork shoulders and have a bunch of the guys out to help me put in the new garden fence and plastic the greenhouse all in one day... Then stuff them full of pork and send them on their way again!
With the ground being frozen solid now I can't do the trenching.

I'm sure they're filming the Duckmen videos during the season. Those are must see movies for any duck hunter. Nothing but ducks dying. Complete carnage. It's awesome.

so I get home yesterday and my better half is in bed with a cold and I come in there to see how she was feeling. Before I could even ask, she tells me to move aside as she was watching tv.
I turn to look what was so intriguing on t.v. that would move me aside. Yeah it was Duck Dynasty....so I sat beside her and I finally caught the donut eating contest episode.
I saw that. ;)
You might not believe this... But as strange as it may sound... My Garden gate made from scrap wood is not as pretty as Tricia Helfer's legs.

With your luck she probably will. Then she'll rip your head off like a preying mantis and drink your brains out of skull, like a little kid squeezing the last drops out of a juice box!
