Had my 4th PL meet over the weekend, and surprised myself by finally going 9/9 and getting all my attempts! Finished with 225/145/320.

That was awesome!
We'll see if the old saying that the camera adds 10 pounds is true. :)
For sure some of the obstacles make competitors feel heavier. :D 37 days to go...

bump for squats - 455 x 2 paused. I should be good for 500 paused next time I max

the last couple of times I've squatted I've had dickheads decide to load or unload their bars right next to me either during my walkout or right before it. It amazes me how big a chitbag the average lifter is - I'll stand back wait for even a fat high school kid to finish his set with 90lbs before I step in next to him and load my bar
he was wearing oly shoes to squat 135 so I guess he was a hardcore lifter with no time to waste.

^^Excellent, Half. Looked easy.

Hey I resemble that remark! Love my Oly shoes, hate my 1 plate squat :)
Seriously though, that 455x2 paused is simply unimaginable to me. It looked so clean and smooth. Crazy strong man!

Everyone kicking ass.
Still dreaming about getting my BF lower, and wishing I didn't have that stupid loose skin!

Man that was impressive. You went very deep and even paused at the bottom. Congrats on the lift. You looked like you could do quite a bit more.

Man, I'm glad I lift alone, at home.
Awesome squatting. I see you suffer from the same leg and arm tremble I have while squatting. :D

That was very impressive. I watched it twice and the kid to your left was demoralized by your strength.. Awesome work man

I'll take it, pre hip surgery I was pausing low 500's so I'm getting closer to that. I'll probably never squat 600+ again but at this stage of my life it's not worth the risk anymore.
the 'twitchy' arms and legs might be due to the EC pre workout :o

Never say never......
No matter what, you've done above and beyond the normal recovery.... good stuff.

We're our own worst critics. I know it probably really bugs you but it's not something I would have even noticed if you wouldn't have mentioned it. Plus you've got a six pack starting to show!

The six pack thing has always been elusive for me. I get to a certain point (about where I am now) and progress just comes to a screeching halt. I can cut calories ridiculously low and nothing changes. So far, I have dropped 1 lb per week pretty steadily since January. I'm going to keep riding this horse as long as I can.
Currently 5' 10" and 197 lbs. Daily intake is 1700 calories with one cheat meal per week.
