Id love to see Messi try a new challenge as well. This Barca squad isn't what they used to be.
Still a top 5, probably top 3 team in the World though
I take it you haven’t seen a single Barca game this year? Or any pundits speaking about them for that matter.
Barcelona is Ac Milan with a Messi/Ronaldo

This will be funny...
Name 5 better squads than Barca
-
GK - Ter Stegen is at worst 2nd best in the world, I would rank him number 1 though
RB Semedo - Good but not great somewhere between 5-10th best in the world
CBs - Pique no longer TOTY calibre but no doubt world class still. Lenglet is underrated
LB - Jordi is the best at his position in the world, dont think anyone would argue this? Maybe Robertson is close now
Midfield - Busquets still the best CDM in the world, De Jong, Vidal, Raktic etc all great but not world class. None in their primes. De Jong reached the TOTY of course but it was a historic weak year for mids
Attack - Messi is 2nd best in the world, Suarez and Griezmann top 10 attackers, Dembele still unproven
Barcalona have everything, they have just underperformed this year
-
I'm starting to worry about my guy FreZko's mental health.
Do you need to talk to someone brother?

Very funny indeed... You just outed yourself as someone who not only doesn't watch the games, but doesn't listen to pundit analysis.
There's a few factors here you seem to have completely ignored.. Coach, Age, Form, Fitness, Chemistry.
At the moment if you remove Messi.. these teams are better than Barca:
- Liverpool
- Man City
- Bayern
- Dortmund
- PSG
- Juventus
- Atalanta
- Inter milan
- Real Madrid
- Atletico Madrid
GK - Ter Stegen is at worst 2nd best in the world, I would rank him number 1 though

All that talent yet without Messi they have only won 3 out of 11 games that he missed, and it was against mid table competition.
Underperforming is the key, this game isn't played on paper, yet on paper Barcelona has the oldest starting lineup of any top team in europe.
If you look at the Juventus squad before the season started you would think they're world beaters. Yet they weren't, were they?
On current form barcelona is terrible, a team that has been mismanaged for almost 5 years.
Semedo has been terribly inconsistent and has had to fight for his position on the field with someone who isn't even a natural RB.
Pique and Lenglet have been underperforming and have been demolished by mid and lower table teams by 4 goals or more multiple times each season. Pundits joke that if the other team has a pulse they can break through barca's defense.. Which has been terrible
Jordi alba was never the best in his position in the world lol. Marcelo was always better. That being said, Alba is great but has been in and out of injuries and form for 18 months. I believe he's missed 15-20 games this season overall with form and injury issues. He's lost pace as well and can't defend against top talent anymore.
Busquets is absolutely not the best CDM in the world anymore, his athleticism has dropped to the point that he can't keep up with a fast paced game anymore. He looks great against weak teams, but can't handle much more.
De Jong is the best CDM on the team by far but has been mismanaged and placed out of position.
Rakitic is way past his prime and on his way out, this has been his worst season ever, he's not on the top 20 of midfielders anymore.
Vidal is old but still clutch, does well when coming off the bench, can't perform for a full game however, and he's out of place in barca's confused system.
Messi is by far the best in the world and the only player in the history of the game to star in every UCL final he's played in. But he can't do it alone, just like Ronaldo can't.
Griezmann has been terrible all season, a 16/17 year old has been taking his game time lol. He plays in the same position as Messi and can't perform out of position. - 9 goals all season
Suarez has been in and out of injuries all season and at the moment has no legs. He couldn't lead a spin class if he wanted to. I think he's missed 20 games overall. 16 goals all season
-
The guys coming out saying Icardi > Griezmamn
Can we please get this guy admitted to a mental health facility? I'm worried about him
-
top 10 attackers in the world:
Messi
Lewandowski
Mbappe
Salah
Mane
Aguero
Benzema
Auba
Ronaldo
Immoble
All ahead of Griezman and Saurez
edit:
Add Firmino and Kane in there somewhere. both of them aren't even in the top 12
I would put Lukaku and Icardi ahead of griezman
Suarez and Griezmann have scored 24 goals COMBINED in the last year... Yet this clown says they're among the best in the world.. Sergio Ramos.. a CB has outscored griezmann this year.
-

Dude.. Griezmann has scored 9 goals this season
Players aren’t frozen in time. They don’t stay at their peak forever.
-
Griezman
35 Matches
9 Goals
4 Assists
Icardi:
9 matches
8 goals
2 assists
Icardi needs 26 less games to score and create the same amount of goals? Fukkin braindead retard right here
5 UCL goals in 6 UCL matches
Icardi > griezzman by miles
You okay there big bird?
Luke is a fake football fan. It’s obvious he doesn’t watch or keep up with the game.
He’s literally in for Ronaldo. And that’s it lol
-
Guys I think we should set up a Gofundme page for FreZkos therapy sessions
I'm willing to donate

You exposed yourself as a fake football fan who’s just in this for Ronaldo.
Now you’re trolling because you’re incapable of recovering from your stupid statements.
Busquets still the best CDM in the world - lol
Griezmann still one of the best in the world with less goals than a CENTER BACK. - lol
Pretty much every pundit in Europe is debating if Griezmann has been a bigger flop than hazard.. and so far it’s unanimous that Griezmann takes this award.
Rakitic still one of the best - lol
Barcelona a top 3 team without Messi despite the fact they win less than 30% of the time without him - lol
-
I mean Hazard was at least injured for the majority of the season..... Griezman just got a injuried last month and this actually might help barca if he sits. Dude is just a waste of space out there.
Hope barca play a 4-3-3- with Ansu Fati and messi on the wings
True, hazard also has a history of getting fat in the off season. I’m sure the injuries didn’t help.
High hopes for Barca today but frankly I don’t enjoy watching them anymore.
So much lateral possession that leads no where, they get stuck outside the box often and are always at risk of getting exposed on the counter.
-
This.
Napoli will win today if Messi/De Long doesn't create any chancez. Messi needs to be a creator.
Napoli are perfectly built for the counter attack the pace on there wingers and attackers are scary
Napoli has a good shot of progressing.

Messi’s heat map during Barca attacks this season..
He’s become their CM, spends very little time in the box where attackers score 90% of their goals.
-
These guys are making excuses for Messi before the game even started
Despite playing a team thats significantly worse in every position except Koulibaly
-

I think these guys are worried Messi might pull the same trick he did with Argentina when he choked...
Give up and retire like a pushy
Let's see if Messi can show up today, I sure hope so
-
UCL Quarter Final Goals:
CR7 25, Messi 12
UCL Semi Final Goals
CR7 13, Messi 6
UCL Final goals
CR7 4 Messi 2
Total:
CR7 42, Messi 20
-
2 Leg UCL ties lost without contributing a single goal;
Messi 9 (2007,2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017,2018)
Ronaldo 1 (2011)
Can Messi make it 10 tonight...?

lol I agree.
Barca up 1-0 but that goal should have been ruled out by VAR. Napoli by far the better team so far.
Sarri sacked by Juve LMAOOOOOOOO
Ronaldo probably complaiuned about him and got him sacked.
Whose the next manager for Cristina?
...
Poch the new favorite?
I wonder if Mou never took the job at chit he probably would be the ideal manager to manage this squad.
Pirlo
How is VAR so fukkin ****? first goal was obviously a push and the 3rd goal wasn't even a handball
The side replay looks like a clear hand ball. But from the front there's no contact, played it back twice... Looks like Messi moved his right arm away from the ball which made it look like the ball moved his arm from the side view.
Edit: tough luck for Koulibaly, no way of knowing messi's foot was there.
Should be 4-0 Barca now
-
inb4 remontada
not srs
semi srs
-
Griezmann by far the worst player on the field for either team.
Utterly useless
Lol LukeS1
-
At the very least, there has been some life injected back into this thread. Haven't seen it this active in ages.
-
Tremendous display, you got me FreZko.
Didn't think Messi would come out with some magic like that, wow what a corner to win there.
-
Napoli was the better team. They played a great game.
I’m blown away by Davies, this kid came out of nowhere. Might be the best LB in the world on current form atm.

Within one season (which he got his chance because of injury) has gone into a top 10 most valuable player in the world. From my hometown too (at least since he was 5)

He’s an exciting prospect, good to see talent Of this caliber coming out if unlikely places like Canada as well.
He seems like he has a good head in this shoulders too
