Brady is very clearly the best QB ever and its amazing that anybody is still trying to argue this.
Beating Brees, Rodgers, and Mahomes en route to a SB at 43 years old is just insane. Give it a rest Brady-haters, you just look stupid at this point.
I understand and said OPs claim was trash. I simply responded to the fact that the most accomplished doesn't necessarily mean the best we have ever seen at their peaks and why I asked the replacement question about how Montana can't be top 5. What happens when Marino swaps places with Montana? What if Arod with Brady?
I thought you were implying if Montana and Marino swapped places that it would make the list accurate. My bad.
Is that supposed to mean one quarterback is better than another?
Would Marino love to have a super bowl? Of course. Does he want foles career?
A QB with 7 Super Bowls wins is better than all the other QBs out there.
My point was that Manning has more regular season MVPs and All Pro seasons than Brady, but that's not what all time great QBs play for. Why is Manning better than Brady? Everyone says Manning has had incredible regular seasons, but why is the regular season so easy for him, but come playoff time, he crumbles? He stat accumulating against bad teams and then when it comes playoff time and he's going against good teams, he can't perform well all the sudden?
Brady has spent the last 20 years playing extremely well in the regular season AND in the playoffs. 2 more NFL MVPs and 4 more All Pro selections doesn't make Manning better than Brady.

I think what people don't realize, or maybe downplay, is that playoff success just holds so much more weight than regular season success. Yes it's a team sport, yes you still need good stats, but great QBs can consistently get wins in the playoffs. All the regular season does is get you there and get you a chance at a bye/homefield advantage. Important for sure, but great QBs will overcome

Do you guys ever get tired of doubling down on your retarded takes or are you just in too deep at this point?
You think the defense overperforming for Brady's career is due to Brady and not like the greatest defensive mind in NFL history as the HC?
Todd Bowles?
I remember reading all those articles about his defensive genius. That’s why the Jets were always so good.

7-9 team that Brady took to the SB, remember that

You don’t believe that do you ?
Being a bargain bin QB means you get to play with elite talent. NFL teams only get so much cap space every year so if they wanna splurge on the 400 dollar wagyu beef, they gotta skimp on the wine.
Tommy boy is a AAA Angus beef steak dry aged for 28 days. He's no wagyu, but if you go with him, you can splurge on that 400 dollar bottle of wine or get a half lobster with your meal
NFL has always been about price to performance, not sheer performance. Tommy boy is literally the kirkland QB in the NFL. He's a lexus. He's amazing value but he's not the best
Fuking lol I loved this analogy..

But why discount the impact of gronk, fournette, ab etc is
But why discount the impact of gronk, fournette, ab etc is
Sure he has some great players around him, although zero offensive pro bowlers
So does Mahomes, so does Rodgers
Who won tho?
Also think, why are Gronk and AB even wanting to come back and play? Maybe because they know Brady is the best and he actually inspires players around him to be better?

The bucs did. The defense played lights out in the postseason
-
Kind of surprised Rivers wasnt in contention. He didnt even make the list
The bucs did. The defense played lights out in the postseason
Of course they did. They didn't want to let Brady down. No one wants to disappoint the GOAT; he inspires others to be better

Regular season Wins/Losses
Brady 230-69
Manning 186-79
That's right, Brady has 44 more wins and 10 less losses.
Playoff Wins/Losses
Brady 34/11
Manning 14/13
That's right, Brady has 20 more wins and 2 less losses.
Super Bowl Wins/Losses
Brady 7/3
Manning 2/2
That's right, Brady has 5 more wins and 1 more loss.
Manning has 1 less Super Bowl loss than Brady so clearly Manning is GOAT.
Makes as much sense as that article.

Peyton was not a winner. he was great at changing plays at the line, cool story. still lost.

Brady is the goat but Vinatieri vs Vanderjagt swung some postseason victories in Brady's favor and stole some from Manning
-
how many regular season MVPs does he have? therefore, the other he is the goat

With how retarded your takes are you must get your information from Rob Parker

Wonder if they factor in the all decade teams where Pey Pey was always second best
And I wonder how much they factor the popularity contests like pro bowl and MVP. Also wonder how much these ranking change if the MVP voters didn’t rob one from Brees to give it to Peyton

He went 14-0 with little to no help. He absolutely was a worthy winner.
Peyton could’ve and probably should’ve won it again in 2012 but AP was a big name then.

How did Vinatieri get in range to kick those field goals? Let me guess—the running game.

But we do realize especially now. We just saw Giannis win back to back MVPs in the nba and no one thinks he's the best player at all. MvP meant something back in the 80s with Magic, Bird and then we gave it to the 2nd best after Jordan. Shaq and Kobe should have multiples, but it doesn't matter. Speaking of football there is no chance JJ Watt shouldn't have won that year but again he lost because in the nfl MVP is now basically a QB award and even 2000 rushing yards doesn't give it to you anymore.

Brady is the greatest QB of all time. Manning is the best QB of all time. Stats like these should favor Manning.
