If you're feeling extra stress then that will increase cortisol levels. That in turn will cause you to retain water. Since the proverbial sh*t just hit the fan here in Canada this week that might explain the weight loss stall. I would suggest reducing your stress levels and/or taking creatine. Given that the stress reduction isn't happening any time soon your best bet is the creatine.
It will shunt extra water out of the body and shunt new water into the muscle cell. I found this remedy on my own and did it the night before my comps, worked well to get dry without diuretics.
Its cheap, can't hurt you, and is not being stockpiled by ignorant people yet and it might even work and give you that psychological reward for your efforts with a scale drop.
Stay safe and sane my friend.

Agree with Archangel. You can't go wrong with creatine, although I haven't heard of it leading to weight loss overall. Still, it puts the weight in the right places!
Thank you fellas. I appreciate the tips. Next bb.com order will include creatine! xoxo

Happy Saturday. I'm going to re-feed on cereal and crackers lol

Mo, loving the new low; on the scale, not in mental stability, lol.
I get what you mean about though, this virus has been stressful. Last week I laid off close to 200 people; I joined them today. It's easy to say, but we all have to remember what's really important, have perspective. Let's stay safe and come out of this in one piece.
If you need to reach out You know how to reach me H.

Hey Boss. So sorry to hear that. Same goes for you - I'm here. Maybe this is the universe' way of showing us who and WHAT we actually need. I'm trying to stay positive.

When I had emotional turmoil Ashwagandha helped.
Side DB laterals cause me shoulder impingement...not a good kind of pain! :P
So I had to find something for my lateral delts that I could load up the weight without pain.
That's why I chose the 45-degree DB row.
Even though it is posterior delts I can feel it in my lateral delts too.
Impressive journal and keep up the good work! :)
-
Hi Zeke! Thanks for joining the madness :) I will do some research on Ashwagandha. I must say I have never heard of such a thing. #researchtime!
I love the DB rows also. 50% less irritation than any sort of barbell movement.
AM Weight: 168.0
Training:
Chest, Bis, Delts mash-up
Totally unorganized and super fun! I am so damn tired this week. I tried my best to pound out at least 12 good sets.
I went in giant set fashion and blasted away with high reps for a change. I fell playing football with my son and my ass cheek is broken ... lol Same side
as my bad hip. #momfail I. Am. Old.
Stay safe everyone!

Excellent on all counts! Congratulations!

Good job on that bench PR! It's nice when you can hit PRs when you're not eating alot.

I agree on the creatine. Sorry I am later to the show here. lol
Just make sure to get close to a gallon of h2o in per day also. You will pee out the unused water.
Holding water is a miss conception also. The more you drink the less your body retains in a bad way. Your body knows it will get more so it don't save or store the unused water. It also flush's out unneeded salt. Just don't drink more than gallon and risk flushing out needed electrologists. ;)

Keep grinding Mo; you're doing so well!

Are you declining the weight curve while flattening the curve?
Cheering you on from Alberta.

How's life in isolation for you?

To quote the wise old philospher, Joe Walsh:
Lucky I'm sane after all I've been through
I can't complain but sometimes I still do
Life's been good to me so far...

I love that quote! Thank you :)
Weight is stuck again. Cardio going up a tad and macros dropped 80 cals total today. We shall see what the next few weeks brings.
Cardio and stretching today only. Light arm workout - but very light lol I dont count it.
I frigged up my left hip - so with a bad right one I'm falling apart. I gotta take a break from pretending to be 12 again .....
-
That's an old back-and-forth story. We push, push, push until our old bodies say, "Ho'd up, ya'll! We ain't 15 no more!"
Then it's Ibuprofen and heating pads for two weeks. LOL

We all are at our age were we are smart enough to know when were broke and need a step back. Not like when we were young and worked through anything, some times making it worse. lol
12? I thought we all were 13.

Hi you. Thanks. I'm trying to mix it up and take it way out of my comfort zone. Cardio sucks. I love skateboarding, so 2 birds with one stone :)
Hit an amazing chest/bis session yesterday. Went for 10 sets, same weight for amrap. I am done. My chesticles hurt.
167.8 this morning. #dowork
