And lol at doods comments about theres no difference between a man and a woman. Then why cant women hurl a discuss or hit a baseball as hard as a man? Because they arent strong enough, hence, you will feel more impact presure from a man than a woman.
It's a mystery why people who experienced a trauma tend to repeatedly create or to run into situations where the trauma will be repeated. The most convincing theory on this is that in some people the brain subconsciously and compulsively attempts to "resolve" the trauma by going through it again and again - in the "hope" to find a solution. Unfortunately, the solution does never happen, but the compulsion to expose oneself to such situations continues to exist. Strikingly, concerned people aren't aware about their own contributions to get involved into things that will cause the same troubles as they have experienced in the past.
No That's not what I was saying. I'm saying that if a man the same size as Bambi hit me it would be the same as Bambi hitting me. lol. So if you put a man of the same size against a women of the same size then what's the problem? lol. I really don't care anymore. The point was that some women are stronger than some men and that it shouldn't matter if it's a women fighting a man, only the actual size of the two people fighting that matters.
*Once again I do not approve of hitting women*
*Wait, I take that back, if anyone lays a hand on my kid they will get the ass whoopin of a life time, my kid comes first no matter who you are ;)*
So your saying, that a woman (and I know her) who is 215 pounds (heavier than me, and only bout 4 inches shorter) has a chance at surviving my blows? Heck one hook would break her gaurd, literaly. Men and women dont have the same structure man, a woman will break too easily.
Sounds like your talking about an over weight person, who couldn't beat up an over weight person no matter the gender.
Dude,
the IDEA of your argument is sound; I actually agree with it.
Women shouldn't hit men either. I agree.
I look at the "men shouldn't hit women" thing like "truck drivers have to be extra careful". No one wants to get into an accident, but the potential for harm is much greater.
But...
your argument about men and women being equivalent in size and strength EVEN AT THE SAME BODYWEIGHT just doesn't jibe with statistics, or physiology. Are there very strong women? Yes. But, statistically, the average strength of a group of men at a given bodyweight is going to be much higher than a group of women even at the same bodyweight. MALE HORMONES MAKE MEN CARRY MORE MUSCLE FOR A GIVEN BODYWEIGHT.
If I were in your shoes, I would make the argument from a moralistic point of view, not physiological.

1. I don't think that guy is 140. I wrestled 138 at that height in high school and was WAY more muscular than that guy. He is lean so it wasn't a "leanness" factor.
2. You said hormones only make a difference when one lifts weights. Where were/are the OVERALL female record holders (vs. men) in boxing, wrestling, martial arts, swimming, running etc etc etc? The acceptance of weight training for sports is RELATIVELY new? If your "theory" were correct, then the record books would have been littered with women holding ABSOLUTE (versus men) world records.

if i ever saw a guy hit a girl id tear him apart.
I was about to come in and post similar things. It doesn't seem like it should be that difficult to figure out that it's not always about going back to the abusive man...it's about keeping a roof over your head and food in your belly until you can figure out what else to do. Or until it gets bad enough that you'll suck it up and ask for help. People are normally embarrassed/ashamed of getting themselves in a mess like that. And if you have other things blocking you from taking action (like being depressed, not wanting to be a bother to your family or friends, etc) it can be really hard to find an opportunity to move on...
I think staying in an abusive relationship for sex is probably a sign of mental illness. LOL
unpredictability > predictability

so you saw a dude slapping a hoe and he is automatically abusing her?
after taking her home and all that, did you ask her what got him to slap her?
back to the " Women, why do girls go back to guys that abuse them?", have you actually noticed what these girls call abused????
It's dam nonsense how much women exaggerate to be the "victims". dam all the attention crazing and need to fit in the "I have gone through sooooo much in my life"
women deserve it at times (as do men if they push it too far). I would say don't get into a couples business. You don't know their past or what their limits of respect are.
-
Sometimes it's easier to stay in a relationship than it is to leave-- I think we can all relate to that in some form, but it can be especially true if the woman feels endangered by leaving. If they live together, work together, share the same circle of friends, etc, it can be so difficult...
Every situation is different. From an outsider's point of view it's hard to comment. All we can do is hope that she finds the strength.
Sorry...but a MAN should never HIT a WOMAN! That's like an adult beating up a toddler! There are other ways to handle mistreatment. Granted...she obviously did SOMETHING to piss him off...to what extreme, we'll never know...but being ANGRY at a woman, whether justifiable or not, does NOT give any MAN a right to assault her! It's just not fair and/or equal to fight someone who is biologically weaker than you...it's actually not a FIGHT...it's a slaughter!:)
Men are generally stronger and more powerful than women, but it doesn't mean to say that this gives women the right to beat up guys, and yet men can't be expected to defend themselves. That's just stupid.
If a woman was about to smack me on the head with a weapon or some ****, I would certainly defend myself. I'm not an idiot to stand there like a ass.
Men should never hit women and women should never hit men.

I think it goes like this, a woman who has lots of sex is derided a whore, a man who beats a woman, is a wife beater. Those two are very touchy subjects for our sexes. Its just sexual generalizations man, no one should hit anyone and someone who likes to have sex with multiple people should be considered a harlot. *In accordance to secular belief of course*.
