Did you continue to squat and deadlift while pregnant?
I'm currently 17 weeks pregnant with my first baby!
I have continued to squat and deadlift just the bar thus far. Wondering if you ladies have done the same? I have been reading conflicting information on the safety of this topic. I originally had mentioned to my OB/GYN that I had been lifting heavy weights pre-pregnancy and she seemed to think that 50lbs should be fine. Now that I'm thinking of it, I wonder if any OB is truely familiar with what the exercises are. Thoughts??
if you find that out on the belly skin
Thank you! Now if I could just find out how to get rid of the excess below belly skin without a tuck I'd be all set ;)
You let me know... been a freaking year. Pissing me off now lol amazing that we can get so fit after though, especially with so many negative people telling us we will never be what we were again.
How many calories are you adding for breastfeeding?
My son is 9 months old and still nurses pretty often. I have lost 80lbs since he was born by doing cardio mostly, and some light resistance training. This week I started bodybeast, and I have been STARVING. I was eating about 2300 calories (I'm 5'6" and 145ish) but I feel like I need to eat more now. I don't know if that's a bad idea? If I eat an extra 200? My CIM is around 2050, so if I add 300 for bfing and like 150 for my workouts, should that be about right? I do have a bit more fat to lose, but I was thinking I could cut back to around 2000 during my cutting (beast) phase in the last 4 weeks of the program. I'm just scared I'm going to put on fat... But I also don't want to lose any muscle! I hate how vague bfing calories are! What are you all doing?
before resuming gym rat status
How long did you ladies all have to wait before heading back to the gym after having your little one? I've been told tobwait six weeks before doing any abdominal work. Anyone been told similar? Or have any advice I'm 39w 3d and trying to prepare myself mentally lol.
