You're now falsely claiming, that if you were jabbed, that if would reduce your chances of getting the Rona by 80%???
Despite Fauci and the CDC saying otherwise?
Who are you to convince here?

I legit DGAF if you were "one of those people" of not. Enough of you were... You don't want to be lumped in with them, then maybe you should have tried to distance yourself from them two years ago instead of whining about your hurt feelings now.

Then why are you defensive and butthurt? I begrudgingly got it (JnJ) to keep my job and "quietly moved on" as well, but these threads don't bother me at all because I'm not invested in justifying the vax like you clearly all.
1) the efficacy was extremely high against the original strain
2) it stopped the spread of the original strain
3) I got two shots to protect myself against the original strain
4) I had the side effects which were described to me (a day of aches and lethargy)
5) I was never lied to about it being FDA approved... it was approved under emergency use which was widely known
6) My wife is vaxxed and currently breastfeeding with no side effects
7) My wife got pregnant while both myself and her were vaxxed after trying for one month
So really the better question is, will the anti-vaxxers ever let the vaccine stop living rent-free in their heads?
1) no it wasn’t. It was a leaky vaccine. You were lied to and told “breakthrough” cases were a thing. They weren’t. It was just the vaccine not working in stopping the spread. Leaky vaccines don’t stop the spread. They then create mutations, further not stopping the spread.
Cdc, birx, and Fauci now all admitting they lied in the beginning and saying it doesn’t stop the spread.
You were lied to.
2)it did not stop the spread of the original strain. You just told the same lie you were lied to about lol.
3)you got 2 shots, but you need boosters. Boosters weren’t part of the original pitch. You were lied to. You now need 2 shots, 2 boosters, and possibly an approaching 3rd booster to be fully vaccinated.
You were lied to.
4)you described 2 side effects. There are many. They lied to you about the risks. There are now many much more severe side effects from the jab. J&J for example
Had to be pulled because of clotting issues. Issues they didn’t tell patients.
You were lied to.
5)the FDA NEVER approved any vaccine available to date. What you took was just emergency use authorization. Meaning a non tested non approved drug. Not a real approval.
You were lied to.
6)parts of the vaccine are now found in breast milk, something they didn’t know before, so now you’re feeding your child who isn’t yet approved to take the vaccine, the vaccine.
You were lied to.
7)congrats on the baby. But that doesn’t change the fact that the vaccine effects women’s menstrual cycles, something they were lied to about from the beginning. OBGYN’s were saying the vax never makes it to the reproductive system, which we now know is a lie.
They were lied to.
For 2.5 years All in all the “experts” lied at every turn, meanwhile we the “anti vaxxers” as you call it, sat back and watched with our critical thinking skills and realized somethings afoot. We tried telling you , but you and other pro-covid folks called us conspiracy theorists. We were told we should lose our jobs, lose ability to go to stores, eat, receive healthcare due to us not taking the jab.
However as time passed those conspiracies turned to truth. So while the vax does not live rent free in our head, we have a victory lap we must make for the next 2.5 years and a lot of “I told you so’s” are due to many amongst the misc.

That's what I mean, you had guys like Benny, NOW trying to brag how he's too busy enjoying life, and doesn't even think about Covid anymore.
Congratulations, I was doing that in 2020, and he claimed I was breaking the law for finding two gyms that stayed open under the radar, and only put on a mask, if the private establishment asked me to.
Then when things opened back up, and places required us to mask up, he said my gym was breaking the law for allowing us to not mask up while working out.
Like I said, they want us to FORGET how they acted during all of this. But that's the point, we should never forget how they acted during this time period.

Hell, even the leftist elites that locked down their cities/states would constantly violate their own mandates/restrictions and would travel to places like Arizona, Florida, Texas and Mexico.
And what would happen when they were caught? Nothing, they were given a pass.
Remember when Ohama threw a party of 500 people? Nothing.

Your “victory lap” exists in an echo chamber of scientifically illiterate miscers, not in reality. You have constructed a fictional reality in your head to cope. As has been pointed out repeatedly, vaccine skeptics have been wrong on nearly every aspect of this pandemic.
There will never come a day when health experts, past, current, or future, conclude that the vaccines were a bad idea. Ever. Your decision to not vaccinate will never be vindicated in the real world. The vaccines will be remembered as a historically great medical achievement that saved millions of lives. History text books will devote a few paragraphs to ridicule the anti C19 vax movements.

How many times was J&J recalled? Will the history books point out how everyone was taking the Pfizer vaccine the wrong way? How people were lied to, or threatened with the loss of their job to get it? How they would be forced to live as a second class citizen unless they got it?
And really? It saved "millions" of lives?
What next? You gonna push for everyone to get the monkeypox vaccine?

Actually no. Vaccine skeptics have been right at every turn of this pandemic. Which is why this is a victory lap.
It’s a victory lap to everyone not just the misc. the “professionals” who lied, the government who lied, the public who lied, shamed and demanded no jobs and no healthcare to those who didn’t jabby the jab.
My decision has been vindicated several times over. Covid was a nothingburger for me, which data predicted. Was no need for me, a healthy young individual to get it. I had no exposure to any of the bad side effects of the experimental unapproved vaccine that the gov and cdc officials lied didn’t exist. Vindicated in every way.
Is nobody said this was bad for everyone. Select groups it made sense.
But mine? No. No vax needed for me bud.
Victory lap continues.

I agree with all of this, especially the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. There's one thing I didn't agree with the scientific community on, and that was the necessity of lockdowns. You can claim they're effective, and that's true, but they're effective in the same way amputation is effective for an ingrown toenail.
I mean, it works, in a sense, but is your proposed solution actually worth the run-on consequences? I claimed they weren't, and the lockdowns were indeed an instance of poor epidemiology and devoid of a proper evolutionary understanding of the dynamics of the virus i.e it fosters an artificial selection effect where you actually perpetuate the worse strains of the virus.

I’ve never said the scientific community was right on everything in an absolute sense. No one on earth believes that. In hindsight many things should have been done differently. I’d give the CDC a B- on their pandemic response. (Not that the CDC necessarily represents the sci community). What I’ve said is that relative to whatever solution or prediction that the skeptic community was pushing, the scientific community’s solution turned out to be the better choice. I’ve been critical of some lockdowns. But the overly restrictive approach was far better than the suggested approach of no lockdowns by these dummies.
Epidemiology is largely missing evolutionary consideration and it caused a lot of problems during this pandemic. Preaching to the choir. That said, why do you think lockdowns selected for more harmful variants?
