what are in fat burners that make them fat burners?
Fat burners really don't burn fat. They have ingredients in them that can help you lose weight (crave appetite). IMO, you are 17....just eat clean and lift...and the rest will follow
fat burners are unhealthy... they are only useful for a quick fix of caffeine and a appetite suppression. just have your diet in check, and keep exercising :)

lol!
But anyways, fat burners help you speed up the process by cutting the excess water weight (extra sweat and pee), give you boosted energy for a more intense workout, appetite suppresant, and some of them come equipped with an ingredient that speeds up your metabolism
It varies from appetite suppressing, boosting thermogenesis thus metabolism, helping you lose extra water, altering thyroidal hormones, regulating cortisol levels to burning more fatty free acids.
They vary a lot however everything can be achieved without them.
I personally used fat burner from scitec nutrition for about 2 month i didn't loose much weight but i was sweating a lot during the training and also the daily dosage are three pills i was taking only one maybe two because of high concentration of caffeine so i wasn't expecting some results in short time
They will primarily aid in energy (energy levels can be low when in a caloric deficit) and appetite suppression (controlling hunger pains when calories are low).
Some ingredients have some merit: forskolin 95, yohimbe, etc
Strong bump :o
Solid post
There seems to be a lot of misinformation about supplements online. We need a decentralised system where reviews and user comments are checked for their authenticity
I think the main issue is that lots of products use proprietary blends, so you don't actually know if the doses are enough to be effective.
My own personal opinion is that eating properly and training hard is the best way to burn more fat. Any supplement is only going to add a small added bonus on top of that.
